It is named "The Way Of The Wolverine" invented by a student of Delglesh and the "cat" and Sensei Yamanaka. This student being a 6th dan, along with my father a 6th dan. Both trained in the ancient Okinawan karate arts, and some of Canada's finest. To those who think there is no purpose or rhythm.... they have never heard the explanation, never been explained the meaning from the man himself... it is meant to strengthen ones body and mind. It is not competition....
this kata has been really modified for sport karate as the form as it was made looks almost nothing like this. no offence intended as it looks nice for competition
this is a very pretty competition form, I suppose. But not real Karate kata. Just pretty moves strung together with no rhyme or reason. Nice to look at. Leave the stories out. Only dumb farmers believe that crap about Japanese Imperial families, etc.
