If you put on a basecoat, arent you just putting on MORE nail polish which stains your nails?

@guggikaur No.... Basecoat is different, for one thing, it's clear, so the color can't stain your nails or anything/

@CurryBiskit my nails look like hers, just remember not to bite them and be particular not to break them. occasionally my nails break . x( but my nails grow back super fast. stay away from acrylic nails, they'll ruin your natural nails. you can also try a nail polish that helps the strength of your nails to make them nice and strong. (:

@bbAbieZ i had a horrible problem with that too... and i thought keeping polish on them would cure me but to no avail. What worked for me was rub nail polish remover on them everyday. The taste is so bad that you'll quickly learn your lesson. :D (and think about that taste every time you think about biting your nails)

I can't do these free-hand, but when I used tape it didn't stick and nail polish got all over my nails. Does anyone have any suggestions???

@neunsamedi you could use another tape. some tapes are just not sticky enough.

anyhow i sincerely recommend that u do not use a tape. do it free hand . use a thin brush or first make a border using a toothpick and then color it up inside. free hand will help you make better (other types of ) nail designs in future ... and practicing a few times is usually more than enough!
