Funny...I never felt I fit in with humanity. I was always outside looking in. I was always odd man out. Even when I did yoga and did work with my Chakras. I'm 58 now. I felt more at home in the wildlands
Thank you. I have been learning about the chakras on my own after i took a reiki class. the chakra 7 has help me understand things that i miss the first time. these video help even more. have a blessed day
Those are some new exercises for the 1st chakra. I'll try them. I have tried exercises, but my root chakra still seems closed. Really locked. Are there circumstances when individuals deny themselves the benefit of an open root chakra because of self-punishment or issues of deservedness? Thank you, too, for the affirmations of support at the end of the video.
Okay, I have to challenge what she's saying. I have issues with my family. Mainly because they're a bunch of assholes (I took care of our dying mom while they did nothing). Any estrangement is justified. So if I open my root chakra, they suddenly won't be assholes? I don't want them in my life.
@ElizaDay66 I know what u mean, I have a similar situation. I have done some of these healings in the past and strangely some of the tension disappeared. Not that u want them in ur life, but something does change. Even better, new wonderful people emerge too. A closeness to nature and animals is a result of a healthy root too, which is cool. Outdoor and "Earthy" activities help us get connected. The people we are born to are not our only family (thankfully) ;-)

Absolutely terrible introduction to chakras. Charaks are nerve centers, not magical portals. I'm glad I learned about them elsewhere first or I'd have been turned off on the whole idea. It's the curse of "new age therapy". It undermines the validity of these things.
@greybrother01 Life is magical, grey brother 01. Open your eyes and smell the grass..lol. You are a part of the Universe, whether you believe it or not. Chakras are MUCH MORE than just "nerve centers". You may not like her style,or her approach. You are entitled to your opinion. But don't forget to "smell the grass".
@greybrother01 Chakra's are energy centers, if you believe that way. If they were nerve centers, they would be seen on imaging such and MRI's. The ego exists, yet it is not seen either. This is not "new age" in many thousands of years old. I can't imagine how in undermines any thing and not sure what you're referring to.
