Top 5 Games Of 2011

So what are you looking forward to in 2012? Thus far, I only have Mass Effect 3 on the radar and I won't buy that 'cause I don't want EA's Origin crap on my PC. Max Payne 3 might be good, but so far the setting looks very odd to me (No 'New York in winter at night? What?). Very curious to see how Syndicate turns out and whether EA butchered yet another classic franchise with that or not.

For me, Portal 2 definitely belongs in the Top 5. I also liked Assassin's Creed: Revelations (more of the same Assassin's Creed 2 goodness basically). L.A. Noire disappointed me: Driving is no fun at all, the interviews are basically hit and miss (you select an answer but your character says something completely unexpected and puts off the interviewed person...), and for an 'open world' game, there really is nothing to do outside of the storyline. Uncharted 3 and Skyrim were amazing of course!

Il admit Skyrim is really good i dont even like rpg games and never played any of the elder scrolls but this just got me hooked and playing for hours so yeah i was surprised by that. Battlefield 3 i didnt really like, i just didnt like the feel to it probably because i prefer cod but thats just my opinion. I thought MW3 had the best campaign out of all the call of dutys but again the online is nowhere near as good as cod4 and i dont think any of the other cods are better than that online.

I don't really see how L.A. Noire would benefit from a multiplayer myself, as the game doesn't really have enough competitive combat-type stuff in it. Unless you mean co-op?

But yes, Skyrim is definitely the best game of the year. :D

I agree 100% with skyrim. Yes the game has some bugs. I would rather have some bugs when developers actually pour so much content and gameplay that keeps you going for 200+ hours. Plus they are always working on fixes for it. A true masterpiece!

2. Battlefield 3 - although the story mode was crap the multiplayer is simply amazing, definitely the best multiplayer the ps3 has ever seen.

1. Uncharted 3 - it has to be uncharted 3, it just has to be, the graphics were the best ive ever seen, the story mode was the best in the series, the multiplayer was fantastic, and the co-op is really good fun. Uncharted 3 without any question or shadow of doubt is the game of the year 2011. forget that skyrim piece of shit, that game is pointless

my top 5 games are

5. Modern Warfare 3 - great story mode, good co-op but the multiplayer, whilst still very good is starting to feel a bit outdated and dull

4. Dead Space 2 - one of my favourite series, scared the hell out of me and was a big improvement from Dead Space 1

3. Killzone 3 - i hated killzone 2 but killzone 3 in my opinion was a massive step forward. i loved the game and im really upset that the multiplayer community has pretty much died

5. MW3 - Continues the Story well off MW2 but just feels samey. Mulitplayer good.

4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Very good story great graphics, very unqiue. But not much reply value.

3. LA Noire - Very good story, amaztion graphics, new technolegy and very good 40s feel. Not much reply value.

3. Battlefield 3 - Story is abit of a slow burner. Mainly a multiplayer game but does it very good, better then MW3.

1. Skyrim - No need to say why.

@CarnivorousMonster skyrim definitely shouldnt be compared for game of the year 2011, it was just full of bugs and it was painfully boring. in short there was nothing good about skyrim. uncharted 3 is without a doubt the game of the year 2011.

@Gamer120694 Thats basicly the same with Fallout 3 and that got Game of the Year. Hopefully they shall fix it like they did with F3. But I believe it was very good.
