I'm often saddened by the fact that so many are willing to dismiss a song because of its age. This song is beautiful, poignant and visually stimulating. It will never grow old, despite it being three years old.
@mikey91sick i just consider this an indie pop. that doesn't necessarily mean i'm right or anything. you could also file this under the genre of "awesome"
I'd like to share with u an INTERESTING sonic formula from Sweden:
"El Perro Del Mar" = Sarah Assbring & here's the 2nd track of her 2nd STUNNING album, "From The Valley To The Stars" (2008).
You'll find on it BEAUTIFUL and SMOOTH folk pop songs which are also often woven "by members of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphonic Choir".

Cool Music video. Gnoosic reccomended this band to me(and no doubt they have a ton of talent), but I have to say that this is not for me. Oh well.

@mikey91sick yes, is an indie but is best known with the name of a Minimal music genre if your looking for similar sounds, like CALLmeKAT, Dillon.

sorry... Same chords to Portishead's superior Glory box?
Not what i call a complete utter disaster.. but close enough.
samuelbiggles 1 year ago
@samuelbiggles Yeah similar progression, Glory Box is a sample of an Isaac Hayes song though. You think this song is a disaster??

Love the homage to "Blow Up" (1966 classic film), with the photographer and 2 mod-models.
Amazing video! <3333 I concur with the Michel Gondry reference.

I'm noticing references to at least 2 italian movies: Morte a Venezia at 1:06 and Blow Up at 1:26 . Then again I may just be imagining things.
thasoukopswtokefali 3 years ago 2
i'm not sure about the morte a venezia thing, but i'm one of the girls in the "blow up" section and it was indeed a reference to blow up.
missworld1203 2 years ago
I wouldn't say it's Morte a Venezia, but definitely Venice.
