Alesha was a worthy contestant, muched loved by all but will never be, nor accepted as, an accredited dance judge. She should never have accepted the offer.

Karen Hardy on the other hand would have been perfect.

The B.B.C. certainly knows how to shoot itself in the foot.

Karen, we miss you, do hope that the dance school is a brilliant success.

You make a great point, alesha will never ever be taken seriously as a judge as compared to the other 4 judges if you include darcy then she knows sweet f.a, but karen as a judge would of been good as she would of spoken her mind good or bad, good old bbc lol.

@savannahwitch Yeah but karen's too old- duh! Soon they'll be getting rid of len and bruno!! At least, if they do, it wouldn't shock me. As soon as alesha became a judge, I gave her a chance, til she basically over-scored EVERYONE and said she loved them all and they were all great without any constructive criticism!

Either way, Karen's far too much of a professional- she's already a judge and she's far too good for strictly imho :) All these younger, "prettier" newcomers have nothing on her!

Karen is the best dancer Strictly has ever had - she lives to dance, dance is her passion & you can tell how much she loves it when she's on the floor - she is a fantastic choreographer, mentor & teacher - supportive, experienced & knowledgeable. She would've made an excellent judge.

I think BBC got it wrong. She should definitely have stayed on SCD. She is such a lovely person, knows exactly what she's about and brings out the best in her partner. I really miss her too and also watch her choreography corner. She is lovely, same smile as Doris Day!!

The best Strictly.. is no 4 with Mark &

Karen as winners. It was "fullblooded drama" as Bruno said. We will never forget Karen defending her Mark like a lioness...and him stepping up from beeing a pupil to taking the lead in the Argentine tango. Fantastic! After having read all gossip about Mark and his marrige we can understand that Karen helped Mark in his difficult time. She must be a strong woman to keep his mood up.
