I didn't like it at first but on my laptop I got the XP Dox drivers and that unlocked all the graphical options. This is one game that does look better in Windows 7(the sky reflects off the road). There's also a texture mod that can make it better in either OS.

For me though, once you get your graphics where you want, the experience is really good. I like just driving around getting chased until I decide to do a challenge. It's easy to take backroads and go into industrial docks and stuff.

Also to me it's better in XP because there is a framerate drop in W7. I would rather not have to drop AA or change resolutions because the game has to have everything high to be realistic.

I have a G50VT-X5 (9800m gs) and ASUS M3A780G with a 9600 GSO and it's playable in W7 but once you see the framerate in XP you will live without the road reflection. It has better speed sensation than Burnout Paradise.

Too bad this game came out so soon, and had that crappy intro part (you'll see).

Depends. If you have a PC, but no 360 or PS3, then go nuts. However, if you have either of those systems, then get Midnight Club LA, which is a lot better than this game.
