i wanted this TV when it first came out with Aion, but i could not find anywhere that would deliver to the UK, and i was looking for a New monitor last night and saw it at Ebuyer so i brought it right away xD

I remember some guy at bestbuy swindled me into buying a "8 MS RESPONSE TIME MONITOR" when I was a kid. Never again...it looks the same, the bigger the better but teeny specs like the response time won't break you.

Thru mode is quite different with response time like 5ms. This is regarding input lag. The thru mode reduces the time it takes for a signal to appear on a screen to a mere 1/60th of a second. This is an equivalent to just one frame progressive signal or 2frames of an interface signal.This allows you to see the gaming action as it happens and react immediately.Very useful mode!!!!

So, this game will make your game "lag free" since theres no reduction in screen framerate. Honestly, a refresh rate of 5 ms doesn't cause alg. And true HD on a screen? I'd take my 5.1 surround any day. Currently i have a 24" 16:10 screen, loving it to death and honestly don't see why i would even consider getting that screen :p it's a screen for crying out loud.

I think it's a great idea not plastering Aion on the add.

It's probably just the start of the western ad campaign and when people see it they will be like 'whoa what was that game, it looked awesome!!'

Think raising awareness of the game before directly advertising it is pretty cool idea.

it's a hybrif commercial, for both Aion AND LG. And obviously someone failed to make sure that people knew what was supporting the LG commercial. Obvious concern is obvious.

I say this from the point of an Aion player that cares about his favorite game getting PR. it's vital for the game and yet they fail to make an ad that is saying "Aion".
