  • Best by a clear mile!

  • So tender and lovely -- as she was personally, I've heard... I am about to hear a performance of Magic Flute in Austin, Texas this weekend -- I will try to forget what I've heard here, so I can enjoy the soprano! (It would not be fair to compare her to Lucia Popp - but it is so wonderful to hear her here.)

  • she's (was) the only one.....

  • Best rendition of this aria I've ever heard. My heart is hurting, and this is not a metaphor.

  • Definitely, maybe the best of all time Pamina, although she looks better as Queen of the Night. But it is natural that his daughter's voice is similar to the mother:)

But his singing touches the soul, completely. Thank God we have such luminaries of the opera for our Earth.

  • A great artist and lost to us so quickly. This is gorgeous singing.

  • Truly wonderful! Thank you so much for posting!

  • Wow! I feel her sadness. Outstanding take of this very difficult aria! Brava!

  • I quite like the bright quality of tone she has. It suits the song very well by adding distance with the sadness she's portraying. One of my favorites for sure.

  • I keep trying to listen other singers. But Popp always makes me cry

  • Wow, wow, wow! Lucia Popp was SO musical, beautiful, and the diction is to die for!
