J.J.Abrams stated that he had something in mind that was pretty cool that would be tied into cloverfield. weather or not it will be a standard sequel is undecided. but he also stated that he wasnt going to do it unless they were passionate about it.. so it kinda leaves you hanging both ways... if they made a sequel it would be nice if they actually did it with the standard camera style rather than the handheld shit they were doing..but again depends on the story.

If you can hear the siren you're in the blast radius. @ nestor, as I believe they are not sure what direction to take the new film in, i.e. whether to do a follow on where the first left off or whether to document the same events but from another person's perspective.
