  • how it works?

  • Росскосмос скоро закупит чтоб выходить на орбиту.

  • a general lack of knowledge of aerodynamics and physics will often result in silly designs that are not practical

  • if u got rid of the dome under the fan it would fly just like a helicopter, so the design is kind of pointless and inefficient if u ask me.

  • My first observation this is "another" VTOL machine with limited viability to high speed forward flight, similar to AVROCAR but better. My approach was to create a high speed forward flight saucer, VTOL can come later. See book by Bill Rose- Flying Saucer Technology. A Geobat concept called Skyblade is on the cover. To be sure, your work is much appreciated on this end, may lead to something heretofore unknown. It's already happened to me...Geobat inventor. Circles allow new tech to unfold.

  • O SHIT CALL THE ARMY TELL THEM WE FOUND A UFO IN AREA 52!

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • thumbs up if it reminds u of the robot from Fluber

  • i have now seen a ufo too!

  • PAINT IT SILVER

  • It's a flying lawn mower.

  • full scale for an aero-vehicle maybe? :)

  • Run snake run!!!!

  • neat!!!!!

  • Ok, now go scare the hell out of the people. Attach some LEDs to it and go flying at night :)

  • @aahedo Sure, if you fix them an antigravity device, they can.

You could also use rockets, but that's not very stealthy.

  • ooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Looks like CG! Hmmm?!

  • message to kenoshiakai. What is the lift weight drag co-efficient of this device please? Is it using an electric motor? I would be interested to sponsor the development of a good working model with sufficient lift to carry a person/persons of up to 25 stone. Can we discuss a serious project? If you could reply to my e mail address which is williamscomplex@gmail.com I would be pleased to discuss a commercial venture with this technology.

    Thank you

  • Looks like the one from GRAW.

  • You just like saying 'Cowanda'

  • UFO!! |:O

  • More efficient gain in lift coefficient, increased overall surface pressure (producing a higher uplift force), less image on radar, less friction from the rotating propeller, less unbalancing of the centrifugal and torque force generated, hence more stability. Less flutter and noise for detection. Less maintenance, more payload. Like the brits said when testing the German made Sturnmachinewerkzeugt: "it uses too many bullets!" (Machine gun) No kiddiong! I believe it to be all pluses here.

  • I'd like to see the math demonstrated gains in lift efficiency over standard rotor propellor lifted aircraft... the only advantages I see off the bat is, lower distributed pressure, protection of ducted fan from live fire in a battlefield, and with a shaped cowling... better stealth than a helicopter. But fuel wise... a lot of drag there.

  • My roomba doesn't fly but keeps the house clean.

  • nice. it's so stable it looks like CG.

  • That is not bad ! However it does'nt even come close to My Vacumm Thrust Propulsion to power a Flying Saucer which also produces it's own power ( no fuel needed ) and can circle the earth in less than an Hour It is totaly VTOL and produces no friction in the air and no sonic boom. If you have the money I can sell you Or your company the secret, But it is NOT cheap! NO BULLSHIT and only serious inquieries will be answered . No time for chit-chat or curiosity seekers Please !! A. Flores

  • @nicktesla45 Would be nice to see some proof of said flying saucer. Otherwise, sounds like so much bullshit.

  • @KenoshiAkai You want me to give you a Multi-Million dollar secret for Free over the Internet ? Now who is the real Retard here ? If you have the millions OR a Multi-Million Dollar company behind you to Initiate such a project Get in touch with me . otherwise I have no time for simple Curiosity Seekers . To begin with you would have to sign a Non-disclosure agreement OR you are out of the picture . Sorry but your bait is not good enough to fool this little fish. A. Flores

  • @nicktesla45 Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. You claim to have a revolutionary form of propulsion that no one else has managed to build. Apparently using free energy, no less, since you claim it needs no fuel. Sounds pretty impossible to begin with. And you want someone to offer you millions and sign a special non-disclosure agreement just to have the privilege to see this invention? Sounds like a scam. You aren't the first "free energy" huckster to try that.

  • @KenoshiAkai Wrong !! You are Putting words in my mouth !! I will NOT require a dime to show you the BluePrints BUT ONLY A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT FOR YOU TO SIGN !! BUT I will not waste my time with mere curiosity seekers ! You have to prove you are worth my time ! One more thing ! I said it produces it's own Power! It does this by converting Atmospheric Pressure directly into electricity ! Just like Dams can tap into water pressure to produce it , I can tap into atmospherice pressure !

  • @nicktesla45 Converting atmospheric pressure directly into electricity? So you're saying there is enough free energy in the atmosphere to propel this miracle machine through the sky fast enough to circle the Earth in under an hour (I think that would make it faster than escape velocity, by the way...it wouldn't so much circumnavigate the Earth than shoot out into space). Very funny, yes.

  • @KenoshiAkai - Sure, there are far more "waves" out there than we can count, and all of them have energy...

  • The inventor is the scientist Jean-Louis Naudin who puts his discoveries to the public free service, visit the famous site jnaudin.free.fr I do not know if he is aware that his company uses and invetion if he agrees!

  • @felichon67 Correction JLN labs Do Not put their own inventions on the web for free ! They are a test lab for other Inventors such as Tom Bearden and David Hamel and several others and you CANNOT mass produce these inventions without the written permission of the Inventors . read up on patent laws and get some knowledge before you make any assumtions !

  • porque nao amplica essa ideia numa aeronave grande ja que dar certo me uma menor, usa naves assim para transporte de cargas e pessoas

  • how long can this unit remain aloft?

  • uy, otro video falso de ovni o ufo , ke no es suficiente con los ke ya hay????

  • Secret of UFO.. i saw , i saw ufo.. UFO seen innocent villager hahahaha

  • Im a huge fan of odd flying machines and this one ranks right up there. Ive seen the Coanda effect before, but never quite as effective as this fantasic machine. I wish I could build this myself.

  • pretty nifty

  • It's Weebo!!!

    It's Weebo!!!

    It's Weebo!!!

  • ALIENS, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE

  • after this they gonna built a real Weebo from Flubber...

  • If this goes into mass production, UFO sightings will increase

  • Летающая газонокосилка:)

  • nice.... like it.......

  • People see these things and report to tabloids claiming that they saw UFO´s.

  • @montbard Do you even know what ufo means? I am sure it was a ufo to them.

  • @xLightFilmsx My point os, before they call the tabloids, try to find a reasonable explanation. Instead, they go straight to taloids.

  • So you are the one who stole the lid from my trash barrel..

  • can u do loops ?

  • just wondering... how do you keep it stady.... i mean it isent spinning how ?

  • pizza hut future delivery system

  • That is a neat design! I bet you could make it autonomous without adding too much more weight.

  • No, who will be mowing their air, roof, or trees?

  • it eliminates the gravity, if not, that's not that great. :)

  • So the coanda effect is basically a 360 wing application of Bernoulli's principle?

  • @SavageInsight The Coanda effect results in Bernoulli's principle. That is, the tendency of a fluid to stick to the surface it flows along. It explains how the Bernoulli principle works... if you analyze it a bit.

  • @SavageInsight the so called "coanda effect", it was discovered by the Romanian inventor Henry Coanda. He is the father of the JET ENGINE and other aero dynamic principles like the modern plane wings.

  • @SavageInsight :NO, it's NOT Bernoulli at all. Bernoulli applies to air flowing through a restriction, needing to conserve mass by changing velocity and pressure. It's not a great explanation for flight, since one side is OPEN. Bernoulli is only a guess for flight. Look up Coanda and learn.

  • i take my comment back. the coanda effect is caused by the velocity profile in the boundary layer starting at the surface with the no slip boundary condition, still learning

  • looks like a flying helmet or toaster!!

  • Check out my channel for something worthwhile. The sikorsky cypher uav is better. the fans on it are free to blow air down, so it goes up. This craft directs the air over curved surfaces which only decreases efficiency. The coanda effect on a Notar is actually a circulation effect (Kutta–Joukowski theorem), same reason why baseballs curve-jeez i thought knew this stuff by now. Mr Aesir please crack open an aerodynamics textbook and stop wasting our time. water on spoon higher reynolds number.

  • I can hear the conspiracy theorists now:

"SEE SEE SEE NWO SPYUFOS ARE HOVERING OVER MY HOUSE AND READING MY THOUGHTS THEY ARE HERE TO KILL US ALL 9/11 CPS 7/7 CHEMTRAILS LHC REPTILIANS 2012 MOLE PEOPLE MIDDLE EARTH BLACK HOLES SOLAR FLARES FLUORIDE FEMA CAMPS RFID 666 BARCODES THE BANKERS ARE TRYING TO KILL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..."

  • Wrap in tinfoil and you have a great prank.

  • Whats the trick? Why would one prefer this constrution to a classic heli?

  • @Shodan82

Because this construction is really simple.

    Not like classic heli.

  • @Shodan82 why would you compare this to a heli anyways? A heli is a working design that carries people. This is a UAV and the point to use this is completely different. There are no exposed moving blades such as a Heli. For a UAV the possibilities are endless.

  • @Gig540 Ehm well, my question was rather dedicated to the "coanda effect" propulsion than to the vehicle construction itself. But now I guess the construction is part of the trick

  • This has military implications

  • @bossaman58 already does. the government doesnt want us to know tho so they blame it on aliens and people actually believe it. This was of flight was first looked into in late ww2 by german scientists. but atfer the trials of all german high command nazis were held all of the scientists tht worked on projects like ths one moved to america and thts wen "ufo" sightings skyrocketed. but it was really them finishing the aircrafts they started. it has a neat history to it.

  • This really is awesome mastery of the coanda effect

  • According to Popular Science magazine the Aesir is currently being marketed to security and police agencies with great success.

  • UFO! UFO!!!

  • mmm pizza

  • Would putting golfball-like dimples on the top end produce more lift?

  • added with a Vid cam this will be a good thing to be used in COD MW2

  • @Anandaxp there ARE other games ya know...;-)

  • @WiriamuFirippu yeah, i know, the point is, am so attracted to the run and gun and then say Woohaaa!!! thing :)

  • Awesome :-)

  • it's not alien technology. it's just simple aerodynamics.

too bad they don't teach this is the textbooks tho

  • It's a flying Roomba

  • the flaps idea was genius. :D love it.

  • A bunch of bored ppl messed around and made that...

If a bored government messes around we get what people call UFO encounters...

  • what electronics are you using?

  • That's fan - tastic <-----Did you see what I did there? Great video.

  • Nice toy, looks like it'd be a lot of fun.

    Anyone here remember the Flymow?

    w w w (dot)seogoggles(dot)com/flymow-hovercraft-lawnmowers/

  • how come it's never been used in transportation?

  • @kruppenstein that would kind of defeat the whole point of making it UAV then would'nt it.

  • i want one!

  • autonomous? I didn't see that, I saw a 100 year old helicopter design!

  • @99thmonkee

but it certainly good for UAV purposes because it's so stable it can fly anywhere..

by the way did the Nazi really made the UFO back in the days ? i keep hearing about it but never actually believe they actually did it.

  • @AuroraCypher read vp on repulsine, they didnt, they just kidnapped peoplho did,(schauberger, coanda, etc,i heard rumer that henkiel based his cumbustion turbine on schauergrs suction

  • turbine,,seriosly why ta hell dyu think the sporadic foo fighter sightings happenecust post wwII,coinciden???HEHEHAHAHAAAAAAH<OH DO EVRY1 a favor, dont research on wikipd, thosfukers r like a public toilet

  • @AuroraCypher The first "UFO" was made in 1932 by the inventor of the jet airplane(occasion with which he discovered the "Coanda effect"), Henry Coanda. He called it "the lenticular aerodyne". In 1940 he was captured by the nazis in Paris(he was a Romanian working for the Red Cross in German occupied Paris), because he refused to flee in England(Romania was heading towards joining the Axis, since its allies-France and England- couldn`t offer support and Russia took away Moldova).

  • @AuroraCypher Since that, rumours say that he worked on an UFO for the nazis, along with other captured scientists. Nobody can tell for sure if they did work on such a project or not(most historians say that it`s a myth).

What Coanda later said about his "lenticular aerodyne" and the flying machines based on the Coanda effect was that it is only a question of time untill the modern aviaton will change(guess he was wrong untill now)

  • batteries not included lol

  • are you a wizard?

  • Absurdly stable.

  • '

    battery power or gas power

  • 1956: In New York, Coandă was honored as the inventor of the first jet aeroplane: one speaker lauded him as "the past, present and the future of aviation."

  • whats coanda effect??

  • @BrazillianFOsho -the tendency of a fluid jet to be attracted to a nearby surface.[1] The principle was named after Romanian aerodynamics pioneer Henri Coandă, who was the first to recognize the practical application of the phenomenon in aircraft development

  • Now make a big one!

  • old romanian ideea still working

  • make one really BIG, and put people on it ok?

  • looks good.

    now market it.

    otherwise, whats the point aesir?

  • What is your name?

    What is your quest?

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen R/C UFO?

  • You are going to spark SO MANY ufo sightings with that! :)

  • Paráda

  • That Is Cool !! Nothing Else I can Say, but COOL !!

  • add a GPS, this will be the best pizza delivery machine.

  • @kcelery i lol'd.

  • Have you really mastered the Coanda Effect? If you have, my hat is way off.

  • ROMANUL NOSTRUUUU

  • НУ И ХУЛИ??? ОДИН ХУЙ НЛО ПОСТРОЕНО НЕ НА ПРОПЕЛЛЕРЕ!!!

  • very good

  • I'm building one big enough for me!

I've always wanted to fly and this looks like the safest way as far as microlights go.

  • oh shit its a ufo

  • @exerazor1911 No, it's an IFO.

  • Also, it looks like a very stable design but how much thrust can it actually produce?

  • i'd like to know too... how much is the thrust of this prototype ?

  • what type of materials are the body made out of? and what type of motor is used?

I'm interested in making one myself

  • The military dose not kiss and tell

  • For the primary thrust or weight reduction they may use somthing a bit like what the EM Drive employs, which i think, after reading about it, works a bit like a solar sail works accept the photons hitting the surface of the sail are induced and amplified by microwaves.. *rant over* haha

  • I think flying saucers back when the germans were developing them up until now use ion wind instead of the fan ontop like this do just like the jnaudin lifter. only to get off the ground. This would mean that because the air is charged is can be manipulated by a magnetic field to cause a much large low pressure zone above causing lift, also it would be possible to vortex the column of ion wind by putting a toroid coil inside the craft (lorentz left hand rule - magnetohydrodynamics)

  • It's Weebo from Flubber :D

  • Pretty much this is how "modern day saucer vehicles (UFO'S)" work. These are classified flying which are US/Russian funded and owned. UFO's you might hear in movies and tv are NOT ALIEN (CIA coverup). Hope this video on Youtube explains it to you "UFOS and the army" thank me later!

  • flying lawnmower

  • @mi777ke777 You mean flymo :-p

  • excelent but obivously unstable cause asymetric

  • The same reason alternative energy and propulsion hasn't. Money, and manipulation.

  • Ok so why havnt these repalced the helicopter yet

  • correct me if i'm wrong. a helicopter can autorotate if the engine fails. This will just turn into a brick.

  • @roadrash2187

there is no problems to get a parachute BRS system on this. Try to install it on your helicopter... Good luck.

  • True, but if you have an engine out 50 feet above the ground in either with or without the brs system you're pretty much out of luck.

  • @NoobyRC helis are still far more efficient (thrust/weight/fuel economy) and having the main rotor above the mass of the fuselage is much more stable.

  • but for recon what would be better they thought it through

  • The military doesn't use this. The Coanda Effect is used in some aircraft like the AV-8B Harrier for it's VTOL capabilities.

But this design has not been bought by any branch of the military.

  • 热烈欢迎super man

  • 热烈欢迎super man

  • consider it 3 or 4 times wider diameter then a seat and handlebars mounted on top. that may be able to compete with a jet pack

  • no it is not coanda is romanian i saw a same thing in my country

  • welcom to earth

  • 超人真niu

  • 超人真niu

  • welcom to earth

  • 热烈欢迎super man

  • 热烈欢迎super man

  • 超人真niu

  • that is so epic! Imagine sending food to someone uptairs, thatt would be really lazy but cool!

  • Food? I'd mount it with a BB gun.

  • clearly fake

  • clarly fake

  • HAHHAHAHA..

    This is fantastic.

    Excellent design :-)

  • FAKE!!! You can see the string holding it up.

  • Awesome! I want one!

  • Why dont you do this with ions, and a solenoid. Positive electrode at the top, negative underneath, bit like floating a saucer in a smoke ring

  • looks like the robot from flubber

  • what keeps the body from spinning around?

  • Either counter-rotating propellors or simply the motor and prop are allowed to rotate within the body so the motor spins opposite to the props.

Since the props have a small diameter and a more aggressive angle (than purely axial flow rotors) they could be made extremely light, allowing for a very high RPM differential.

The only challenge would be minimizing friction between the body and the engine's shaft. Given the relatively weak forces involved this could even be solved magnetically.

  • Wow its actually a quite obvious fix. Thank you. Are you an aeronautical engineer?

  • the vanes placed on the lifting surface would do. gives you yaw control and everything, without the added weight of another counter-rotating prop or any magnetic solution.

  • Angled vanes will work but it reduces lift efficiency by 5-10%. Counter-rotating props aren't all that heavy and actually improve lift efficiency.

  • But anyways you still need a method of controlling yaw. counter-rotating props can do yaw control with different rotation speeds and hence different torques, but the response time is greater than using vanes. vanes are also easier to implement.

But actually another solution would be to use stators in the propeller assembly. Not sure whether its more efficient than vanes though.

  • You see there are some small surfaces on a skin, inclined at some angle. When airflow passes between them, it makes the oposite rorating moment and body doesnt spin around.

  • good now make it bigger turn it upside down put a floor in it put seats in it and a glass dome in it and u got a ufo we can actually fly

  • amazing

  • The most interesting thing is that the NAZI's where experimenting with this in the closing stages of WW2. In a factory in Czechoslovakia out of reach of allied bombers. Its been suggested that the soviets captured this technology and used it to spy on the US.....

  • I am pretty sure you are referring to Unicorns and not saucer shaped crafts.

  • not sure where you got your information from but you are way way off

  • i want buy one

  • nice for Micro Aerial vehicles but i think it is not efficient in terms of propulsion.

  • interesting, but this thing cannot work at high altitudes where the air is much much thinner. Great innovation though.

  • Wow, this UAV sure is innovative, must be one of, if not the first UAV that's controlled by man!

  • how come there ain't not no damn sound??

  • cause the guy who made the video is gay

  • UFO!
