We were on this magical cruise, saw all of Patty's shows and fell in love with her over and over again. She explained that she wrote this song about the recent passing of her father and it was very emotional each time she played it. Those who cried took solace in seeing others doing the same thing. Patty is an absolute treasure who should be a superstar but for the culture we find ourselves living in. Thank you Patty, you are a beautiful human being.

What a treat to see this again - thank you for sharing. This is one of the few songs she repeated in all of her solo shows + the songwriter in the round show. It made me teary every time and I kept thinking how much I hoped someone had recorded it.

Did PG and Brandi sing together on this cruise? Unfortunately I wasn't able to join you all... next year!! I have been waiting to see if these two monumentally talented and gracious women sang together and if it would be posted anywhere. Thanks!

Yes - Brandi joined Patty in her final solo show. Brandi sang harmony on Patty's song "Mary" It was extraordinary. Best.vacation.ever!

@jennorex No, I am afraid I did not. It was a great song and performance. Scott Miller will be touring later this spring and will be here in Ashland, Va on June 4.
