Great playing. Yes, Argerich, Pogorelich and MIchelangeli are also worth hearing in this piece, but I think Fung's interpretation is up there with the best.
this is already very good and technically perfect, of course. but he should separate the melody from the rest, especially at the beginning when he makes crescendos and decrescendos.
While Fung's ONDINE is very good indeed, please also listen to Pogorelich, Michelangeli, and Argerich all of which have more colors and a little more mystery and magic. Gieseking's is also quite fine.
this guy's honestly my favorite ravel player i've found so far.

maybe he could have played some stronger pieces in the 3rd round i think
he said himself that he overpractised for the competition. he was giving free recitals in the lead up to it ;D
