  • @alexstanford1 Learn about gymnastics, because it's obvious you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @dianemerq I should be ashamed of myself?

I made that reply to someone who was blatantly insulting China.

Maybe all of you should learn about the Olympics, the journey to the Olympics, Olympic training, other countries, and actually read and think about what I say before you make these ridiculous, clearly uneducated comments.

Actually see see what people in the Olympics have to do to get there before you call it child abuse. It is completely necessary.

  • @dianemerq Excuse me. I sound like a 3 yr old. You're the one commenting on something you obviously don't understand. Why don't you grow up?

  • this isn't abuse, this is work ethic.

  • @Shesgotcrazystyle Then they should just do away with the Olymics from what you're saying.

This is what EVERY olympian does

  • @lethalmitts21 Just to tell you, gymnastics training is like this everywhere. US, Russia, Spain, you name it.

Don't bitch about it just because you've heard bad things about China from people who have probably never been there.

  • @lethalmitts21 Stop insulting China, because you obviously don't know anything about it.

I've lived in both the US and China and I could honestly say, the kids in China were a hell of a lot more respectful than the kids in the US.

Kids in China were hard working, respectful, kind, and understanding.

The kids in the US were disrespectful, spoiled, stupid, and obviously weren't disciplined.

Not to say the US was bad, but I wouldn't insult other countries, assuming you live in the US

  • @Paaaanic Chances are every olympic gymnast from every country had this same training and more, get over it.

They have to do it to become great.

    Every olympic star does.

I don't see why you people are singling out China when every other country does the same thing

And it's not bad like you think.

Try researching and actually going to see training and ask people who are training.

    Learn

  • @dianemerq I never said it was a fact that ALL kids in the US are rude, or that ALL kids in China were hard working.

Learn to comprehend what you read.

  • @DanceDancing23 what i was about to say. us dancers go through similar pains, too, im half chinese and in hong kong where i live all the chinese kids in my school work hard and make the most of their education whereas british kids spend their school day not paying attention and falling asleep in class (well, they play call of duty all night) and the reat of their time sitting on the couch and staring at the tv. the only place where i ctually see all girls work hard is my new school.

  • @josephinea1 That sounds just like where I live, only it's America.

  • @josephinea1 I'm a dancer too, and I agree. It's very similar to gymnastics

  • @kipcain64 Excuse me. YOU can shut up. I doubt your training for the Olympics, and if you are your probably not going to get in because this is what EVERYONE does

  • @lethalmitts21 Just because they work hard, strive to be the best, and are pushed, doesn't mean they're treated like garbage. They just have a very good work ethic, something kids here in the US serverly lack. US kids make their country look dumb and stupid, and they ill probably never be respected by whole country like these kids. Why don't you go whine and bitch about that?

Stop insulting China and their people. They work amazingly hard, which is probably why they beat the US.

  • @jdga9rs dude, you should be jealous of those kids cause you'll probably never work that hard for anything in your life..

  • @lethalmitts21 Ok. Once again, YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T GET IT.

They're training for the olymics, were you training for the olympics, NO.

So of course it was easier for you. In case you didn't know, olymics is hard!

These kids are not getting treated badly. They're trying to get to the olymics and represent their county, the ultimate honor.

And by the way,THIS IS HOW THEY TRAIN EVERYWHERE!

Don't bitch about it just because it's in China. You had a fun childhood they have strong futures

  • I don't know about you guys, but did yall see anything abusive in this video? Cause I didn't... My coaches do the same thing (if not worse), and if they saw us crying we'd get called a bunch of girls (and by the way, our girls work harder than we do). If you're going to be an elite gymnast, you have to go through this... and it's a choice you make.

  • well of course it hurts to the point they're crying. im in gymnastics and its not just for fun. its a sport. just like football and baseball! you either try hard or go home. we have to do the same stretches. you cant stretch so far on your own. so they sit on you. they dont HAVE to. but i always ask my gymnastics coach if she can sit on my back to make me stretch more. you wouldnt get it if you're not in gymnastics.

  • grr im 10 and its not so bad its acctually really nice your just getting bad pparts of it i dont do artistic i do rythmic so more stretching but on the other side kids are swo happy when day learn new stuff and you get to make new friends

  • Why are they saying this is abusive? This isn't abusive. I mean, yes it's hard and intense training, but that's what's required to become great at a sport. And that's in any sport, not just gymnastics.

    (aminoacidtv.blogspot.com)

  • and this is why their ninjas.

  • @ilbisuper Every country does that kind of gymnastics training, not just China

Training is hard, how else do you expect them to become great, like any olympic athlete

  • This isn't abusive, it looks just like my gymnastics training and I live in America

And it's like this in every country, why are you singling out China

This is discipline and hard work, not abuse.

  • @TheDoreamon01 Yes

That's also a part of my training, I'm 13 and they still do that

There's only so far you can stretch on your own, so they have to sit on you so you can stretch even further.

You wouldn't know unless you were in gymnastics

  • @TheHorselover107 You're probably not a gymnast. So you have NO idea what you're talking about.

I had to do theme same things when I was 3, 4, 5 ,6 and even now.

This isn't a game, and they do have fun sometimes, this video is just picking out the parts where they're crying.

They're training to be in the olympics, they're going to cry, and it's going to hurt sometimes. Just like many other olympic stars. How do you think they got there. Do you think there wasn't some pain?

  • @DanceDancing23 or wushu, its like gymnastics mixed with kungfu! its the same training, :)

  • @bunnysaysWOOF I know right! :)

  • @DanceDancing23 i dont think its harsh at all, i think its what you have to do to be the best

  • @bunnysaysWOOF Exactly, these kids are training to be in the Olympics. They NEED this hard training. If they hold back on training just because it makes the kids cry sometimes, they'll never get anywhere.

  • @ikate2 Oh, shut up. Like America doesn't cheat with steroids.

  • we have an easy childhood, they have a strong future :)
