  • I WANT TO SHAVE MY HEAD FOR STBALDRICKS.

  • you shoudl donate the hair that is shaved to Locks of love! And congratz on reaching your goal:)

  • @Garnko13 Thanks!! And no, I will not nor would I recommend donating to locks of love. They only donate about 10% of the hair they get, the rest they sell to anyone to make a profit.

  • No more updates? :O

  • How do you donate?

I wanted to try to do my own and I wanted to like ask my school if they can do this event at school do you think it will work?

  • @ilovepeacehappy You just donate online with a card or with cash then the fundraisee can just deposit the cash into the account. And yes!! St. Baldricks helps people organize events all the time! It’s super easy :)

  • Hello! I want to say first and foremost that I think it's awesome that you're going to shave your head to help raise money to fight cancer. Such a noble cause, and like you, I think that bald chicks are so beautiful, so full support from me. Now, I notice that you're channel is called dreadylongstockings and I see that the first video is of you and some synthetic dreads, but I am wondering if you ever had actually dreaded your hair... (Mm continuing post in comment because it's too long >.<)

  • @theconstantnightmare I have one dreadlock but recently have been contemplating whether to dread my whole head or de-tangle my dread and side shave. I thought, if you'd done both, you could tell me which you preferred. Even if you've never dreaded, I suppose some more insight can't hurt. I have little support for either side by my friends and family, unfortunately, but I can do what I want and I want to change my hair :P So, if you could let me know your opinion, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

  • @theconstantnightmare First off, thanks for the nice words!!

I have never had my head dreaded, only synthetic dreads because I can take them out whenever I want. I personally wouldn’t ever dread my hair, just because 1.) I’m sure its a pain in the ass to “un dread” them, if its even possible (I’m sure some situations you have to shave your head). and 2.) I would forever be associated with dirty hippies. I mean, if people want to be hippies they certainly can be and I have no right to judge them

  • @dreadylongstockings But, I do not want to be a dirty hippie haha. And synth dreads are more associated with the alternative culture (meaning like gothic, cyber gothic, futuristic, etc.) So that’s why I like them. But, if you want to get real dreads I would suggest either buying synthetic dreads first and trying them out, or really thinking about it. Because I’m sure dreads take a toll on your hair for sure. But if you want it, then rock it!!

  • @dreadylongstockings I love the point you made about people thinking I'd be a dirty hippie... Though I don't see it that way, I know other people do for sure! I still do have some more to think about of course, but thanks so much for getting back to me!! I will definitely consider your advice! :)

  • so have you shaved your head yet I went on your page and saw you had $1,010 congrats by the way I think I might do this

  • @TheGothgirll Thank you!! And yay thats awesome that you are considering it :) I’m doing it on the 25th

  • @TheGothgirll Thanks and thats awesome!! I’m still shaving it february 25th =]

  • congrats on reaching goal

  • @kensrs Thank you!!

  • I wish I had extra $ to help you out because it's for such a great cause and I'd love to see you with a bald head. Best of luck! :)

  • @15turn Thank you!! Please share =]
