The way Haggard laughs and smiles, shows his insecurity. Monkeys "smile" sometimes when feeling inferior. He was so clearly wrong in this conversation, very ignorant, and very uncomfortable. Religion already assumes it knows (god) everything about the universe. And that god is a fact you shouldn't question, even though it's unprovable.
