It's really annoying to see you reach over for that slow-to-fast-to-slow Leslie effect acctuator every few seconds. I personally actuate the slow-to-fast effect multiple times while playing and I'd NEVER want to have to do that by leaving the keyboard that frequently. Is this keyboard able to dedicate that function via a simple on-off foot switch like a Yamaha FC5?
You sound great on that C1, I've had mine since 11/08, and it's just the best non-B3 B3 experience I've had... before this it was a v.2 CX3, and that was really good but nowhere near the Nord. Q: That Roland keyboard amp: is it stereo or no? It sounds good!
yes ... you can do anything a B3 can be manipulated to do... with the overdrive and the echo effects ... you can sound exactly like Space Truckin' and Lazy
no im just plugged into a normal roland keyboard amp .. for a motif .. there are no horns in the speaker .. i haven't plugged it into a leslie yet .. but whether liquid or wobbling you have total control plus the overdrive is fun...
the drawbars take getting used to but i like em
im probably going to get the half moon switch ... to put at the bottom left of the nord ...
cause it is difficult to get used to pressing a button to switch from fast to slow ..
it is truly unbelievable, they finally nail it,i mean the lesliesim model..from what i can hear,if you sit down behind this gorgeous red piece of instrument you pretend that you sit behind a old Hammond and a roaring lesliecabinet..
Believe me..i used to play a old Hammond c2 with a leslie 122.
And this red beast is real close to the sound
The nord is truly a Xk 3 beater... sound, design and price wise

why don't you try getting a foot control instead of the half moon switch? it works quite well for me. and you are hands free.

Hey nice video =)
I'm thinking about buying C1, I have a question tough. Can you get heavy sounds like in Deep Purple songs, Lazy, Space Truckin' etc?

No one demos the Vox or the Farfisa! Only reason I'd want it.

Okay ,what i want to ask,in your video...do you use the lesliesim?
Its a matter of taste but for me is the ultimate leslie sound like some kind of liquid sound... not wobbling...
And the nord C1 has it right...pure classic..
What i don't understand that some people dislike the nord..because the lack of drawbars......
My opinion is Hammond is history because of the poor build XB 2 and common stuff.
Next week i'm buiyng the Nord...cant wait....
Keep up the video's... greets Ben.
