I have had 5 spinal surgeries due to birth defects &my biggest advice is to get at least 3 opinions before having surgery. Surgery is a very big step & there are many other things they usually try such as: epidural injections, physical therapy, nerve ablation, etc. I am here if u need to talk.
yeah i was going to say surgery is probably about the only thing that can help with that. hopefully it won't happen though.
