I was hoping that someone watching these videos could assist me. My dad passed away in 1976 when I was still a young teen. I did not get an opportunity to know him as well as I would have liked, and now that I am reaching some age in my life, I would like to find out more about him. I was hoping someone could direct me in where I could find some articles, pictures or film on his unit - Company D, 17th Infantry specifically from August - September 1951 and the Battle of Chup'a-ri.
see all american movies they even emagin that some elians are going to destroy the worlds,it shows thir state of mind, fear...and level of conciousness.
.war and impression on other contries pluse their foolish idea to be in power they want to impose on world...what finally they have got by ding all this..coreans dislike to eachother and still in state of war...a real corean can not forget partition of thir country and hate spreaded by this fool americans among them...why they have interest in all other country..why they thinks world is thir enemy?..
why american have interest in other contries?and what they have done after marking 38th parallel?ultimatly they have devided to corea...its seems to me that thay have done almost nothing ..offcorse they have done fool work with the life of american ,corean and chinees soldiors?..see how much america is far away from those countries?even then they want to play like small child who have nothing to do.
Have the Korean people forgotten what these brave American men did to make Korea the great country it is today? Was it necessary to embarrass the first American African-American president as he attempted to cement a trade deal which would have mutual benefits to the United States and Korea?
if america's nuclear secrets had not been stolen by jew communists the russians would not have had any nukes during this time period.I reckon american casualties could have been reduced by 70% because macarthur would have unleashed hell on those stinking chicoms the minute they crossed the yalu river.
one needs to see Korea today to see what the war brought about.. a prosperous rich country. These veterans would not recognize Seoul.. Song is Arirang. It was played inPyongyang by the Philharmonic. Pray for the death of Kim Jung Il and that the army will not allow his son to succeed him.
i wish more south koreans would comment on this graet video.south korean students are always protesting u.s. presence.what a shame.maybe the us should pull all 3000 us troops out let south do thier own fighting.
well, first, many koreans would searh the "Korean war."and there isn't much views, but look, I am a korean and i commented!~: I thank those veterans for keeping our country safe! ^_^. And I am happy atleast some know the war. They tried their best to get peace, but it would be better if north korea was gone...
Wonderful work. I am a huge fan of history and it pains me to think of men/women of the past who toiled and sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom and are otherwise forgotten.
Thank you for your kind comment. To Nancy and me this has been a mission which has paid us back hundreds of times over because of the wonderful families we have met.
