@marsbars4 I completely agree. I dont think he's ever offered anything to Stings tracks. I know Peter Gabriel has used him a lot too, but I'm not that impressed. No one can replace Stewart Copeland for those classic Police tracks. Although seeing Sting live with Vinnie Colaiuta is something else. I also liked Omar Hakim a lot. But Manu Katche, he just seems to lack something.

yeah me too even i like working as studio im a musician and i want to be professionnal but i like also playing live.But yeah live music is also a moment that you can share your love of music in the audience and also give pleasure to them .

and about manu yeah i love his feeling.i mean it doesnt play for himself he likes to watch the audience and "not close to himself" thatst that i like in his way of playing

I know music is all about taste. But I think music just can't get any better than this.

I remember my first Sting concert as if it was yesterday, I was 8 years old and I sat on my dads shoulders watching Sting during his Mercury Falling tour of 91. I still have the ticket :)

Next week I'm attending 2 more shows. Can't wait so I'm watching and listening Sting like 24/7 for over a month now. Would just like to thank u ppl for posting all these amazing videos. Thanks a lot!

@Sizzlin2010 i was lucky enough to see him a good few years back at the royal albert hall and it was when he had been cancelling quite a few dates cos he lost his voice.. i was real lucky to see him that night as i had to wait right upto the day before to see if he would play... the best thing ever!!! i hope you get to see him live, its well worth it! and he sounds exactly the same live as if you were listening to the cd.

I think it depends on your mood. The original is very energetic and free spirit like. This version (which the entire concert is in his backyard in Italy and well worth buying) is smooth jazz like. I love both versions.
