  • how old are your fish? apart fromthe bacourti and midas they seem to be getting on a bit. Beautiful tank.

  • MANAGUENSE

  • love the colors of your fish but whatta setup?????

  • @DogWarrior327 The jag is hands down the king.

  • @greenterra I was just thinking that must be the case! That jag is just massive.

  • @DogWarrior327 My only suggestion is to make sure you use a marine quality epoxy resin in conjunction with fibreglass cloth for the sealing process. A drain in the bottom can work but always remember it is also another point that a leak can occur. Personally I would scrap it and just use large diameter flexible hosing to drain it.

  • @TropicalFishLovers There was a trimac in earlier vids but not in this one.

  • @TropicalFishLovers Also there is no Trimac in there lol

  • @TropicalFishLovers 'Thats not going to produce Flowerhorns. it is going to produce a gray fish with stripes. Midas is only a small part of the flowerhorns lineage.

The recipe for a flowerhorn is a lot more complicated than that. The flowerHorn contains Trimac, synspilum, texas, midas and possibly festae and other Central American Cichlids. Fader FH do contain some midas genes though

  • @TropicalFishLovers Why would he do that?

  • Before I start to build my tank, has your tank bowed at all?

  • @greenseverum78 Not in the slightest. I don't ever expect it to either.

  • @greenterra size , dimensions and thickness of glass please??

  • @SuperAaaaa123456 External dimensions = 9' x 4' x 3.4' with 19mm plate glass. Full details in build thread in vid description ;)

  • GT is stressed. Id really like to see some carpinte, mota, loi, cuba, salvini, female festae, argentea and synspilum in this tank. Then that would be a real showcase for american ciclids. Its already great though.

  • beautiful setup by the way.. cant go wrong with a tank full of american cichlids

  • ahh the jaguar.. so many memories of my evil jaguar digging the gravel and lunging at me constantly.

  • how much does it cost to run something like this?

  • what happened to the arowana in the photos?

  • @Alexthefish123 It decided to go loggerheads with the trimac. Unfortunately the trimac didn't make it and the lei broke its bottom jaw in the process somehow. I had to euthanize it.

  • omg that is the best tank ever i watched how u built it u have some expeties lol how do u keep the tank warm what heater are u using and what were all the pipes for thanks i am a fish keeper myself and i have a 50 gallon tank

  • @chesney1396 Thanks. All info can be found via the documented build link in the vid description.

  • i inspire to be as good as you with my hobby..thanks 4 sharing dude

  • The new tank arrangement is excellent. The Festae is incredible looking. Congrats man. What a tank..

  • Bet NOTHING messes with the jag

  • lovely friend again u and ur fishes did a nice job :)

  • I love that Midas of you. Also I like how you keep the same fish and grow them into monsters, not changing your stock the whole time.

  • @aequidens88 I think it adds to the experience to grow them out. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks to everyone else for looking and commenting too.

  • Goddamn. Its so nice!
