My take: first you have great chops, and I like what you did during the verse, but I didn't care for the intro and some fills lasted too long. This song is very somber which doesn't mean rapid sweep picking. The fills did not reflect the mood of the song. I understand that you want to make it your own but if you change the mood, you're going to have to change the words because they go hand in hand. You need to realize when the singer has the melody and not have elongated shred riffs then.
