  • my squier stays in tune even with the heaviest bends and whammy use. my SX strat copy from 1965 can do the same. my guitar teacher is going to put in a fender noiseless neck pickup into it for me

  • now go crazy with the vibrato bar.... :)

  • if you hate it so bad sell it for fucks sake

  • @ryankuisti (facepalm...)

  • what fender strats are renouned for staying in tune lol its les pauls tht dont and trust me i know i have one lol

  • how long have you been playing guitar?

  • Thank you, thank you for proving Squiers are much more better than people set them up to be.

  • stop hating on fender

  • stop hating on grilled cheese sandwiches

  • Nice clean sound.

  • ..says the person who has none. Fail.

  • Haha! Good one :)

  • mine doesent have the same head thingy,it just says SQUIER in black then STRAT tm,in black, not blue...

  • Becuase there is different kinds of squier strats. So some do look different

  • Stretching new guitar strings thoroughly really helps guitars stay in tune. I love these videos which blow fender and squier myths out of the water.

  • @qwerly45

I agree I may not own any fender guitars I own 2 copys...and I swear they sound the same...

I have played mostly squires..i have been giving friends lessons they ALL own squires i am always amazed by their sound...

  • are you jewish by any chance?

  • Yes I converted last week. Shalom! Next week I'll be a Buddhist.

  • Rofl!!

    Hey nice playing there!

I'm not really into fender since i'm a bassist, but I played on my friends stratocaster at his house and I enjoyed that alot!

  • Sounds really clean!

  • Damn, my Fender Squire Strat Stays in tune with only 2 springs in a floating tremolo, and no matter how hard you use the tremolo, it stays in PERFECT tune

  • mine too!

  • @Rockinnsk8inallday If u just bought it took out the third spring and whammyd the shit out of it. I guaranfuckingtee you that it would go to hell. :)

  • If Squiers stay in tune, fenders do too =) Best guitar!

  • haha, you're funny...nice vid.. i also have a squier and i think they are the best guitars, suitable for absolutely anything...

  • i dont know much of guitars but i want one of those cause they say they stay in tune for longand no need retuning,i guess thats the proof? XD

  • oooh I get it, you're dismissing all f the damaging myths about Fender Squiers.

  • Comment removed

  • How can u make yours sound like that? please tell me how!

  • if you pull on the bar very much there is no power on Earth that will make it stay in tune AND I prefer not to have a bunch of lockers clamped down.... In my opinion, all they do is make it harder to re-tune when you need to. just have to take it easy on the dogleg, OR get a tech guy to re-tune a different guitar every song so you can make an ass out of your self the way Steve Vai does fixating on the whammy for a whole show????

  • Yes there is, proper set up makes all the difference in the world. There is a guy who posted a video with heavy whammy use and had the guitar stay in tune. My Squier holds tune so great with stock bridge, tuners, and a graphtech stanard nut. I can do dive bombs and everything with it. Always comes back in tune.

  • Do you have the trem blocked off?

  • No it has a trem, I just don't use the bar. If "hardtail" Strats were more affordable I'd always buy those and nothing else.

  • Yeah so would I. I never use the trem. I do have it blocked with a piece of wood. Never goes out of tune. Yours seems stable enough though without blocking it. I suppose you just have it set up well. It's amazing too how much difference even stringing it correctly can make to the tuning stability.

  • point well made! love the facial expressions! squiers arent half bad. still prefer real fenders tho.

  • They ARE real Fenders. They're just called Squier.

  • I wouldnt want to change out the machine heads on my Chinese Squier... it might sound different! LOL... Its how you wind the strings anyway... you can wind them so that they wont turn backwards (after they are stretched of course)

  • Great vids man! Facial expression is great, nice riffs too!

  • the strat is never gonna change , doesnt have to, and it will always stay at the forefront of music

  • a friend of mine was comparing a fender jazz bass and a squire jazz bass, according to him it was the same material, the same wood and all that crap the only difference was the name,

its like brands now a days you are not buying a product you are buying a brand

i remember using a friends squire with an SSH configuration with this crappy amp 10 watts or something , it sounded pretty good, very good, better than his sg epiphone

  • Your friend obviously doesn't know anything about guitars.

  • i just bought one of those man and they are great. (love your sarcasm haha)

  • everyone who hates strats for stupid reasons should watch your videos and learn the truth...

    *subscribes*

  • Ah, the Stratocaster - mankind's greatest invention since the wheel.

  • dude that was awesome :D an that were some pretty extrem bendings!

  • Man. I love everything about your videos. Your satire videos are funny, informative, and get the message across really well to make people think for themselves (and hear for themselves). You also have incredible talent with a guitar, and made me laugh-out-loud when I read the tags for this video. :P

  • shoulda went and done crazy wammy bar stuff ha
