Borla makes the Ford Racing Kit (the GT ones), so the sound should be pretty much the same. Borla just uses better stainless steel.

i got a question ive also got a v6 but the only borla stingers kit i can find is only for the v8 will it hurt my car if i place the system on my car

won't hurt your car at all. The only thing is that you'll need to find an X or H pipe, and put those mufflers (or axle back) on the H or X Pipe. The H pipe will give you a deepr tone, and the X pipe won't get you quite as deep of a tone, but you'll get a little more hp gain

Other then the borla stingers all i had on the car at the time of the video was JBA over axle pipes with an H pipe. Im sure you would have no fitment issues being a convertable.

you should have gone with the pypes mid muffler kit. It sounds exactly the same the only diff is that the pypes drone just a little bit ,not that noticable though

When I did my exhaust pypes didnt have the mid muffler kit out yet. But im more then happy with what I got.

HEY I love your exhaust... I only have single Ford Racing which is pretty much Borla... I wnat the same sound though and am in love with yours. I was going to go with your set up but Borla came out with True Dual for V6 how do you think that sounds?

probally would sound wicked, I dont have a newer v6 have an 2003 with Borla Side exhuast, but for any mustang Def get some shorty headers, Long tube If possible for whichever yr you have.. and a nice x-pipe and the Borla will truly Explode with a perfect sound and I mean its good already but think with Headers and an X-pipe its like WHOA thats a 6?

Yeah theres drone. At first there is alot but after awhile it goes down. Id put it at a 6 out of 10 on the drone scale, but i can still carry on a conversation with the person next to me.

by split do u mean mid pipe? If so then yes they are connected with an H pipe. This is the set up i have. 2 borla stingers connected to over axle pipes which are then connected to a h pipe.
