  • I just need 1mm to close that level! Awsome vidoe!:)

  • that's f*cking crazy.

  • @Pentagonshark666 In the interested of full disclosure, the spring is a little soft for a 300. I have a new one that is quite a bit harder. I would say it is about as hard as a Coc #2.5

  • I crushed the HG300. It was hard to do.

  • Strong stuff!

  • not bad at all i own one and i cant get the grip right i have a 400 but that thing makes a great paperweight

  • Tha'ts crazy...how long did it take you to do this?

  • I just did 16 click reps on the 250. Will order the 300 next month. Have you seen the HG 500 prototype?

  • Good job! You willg et the 300 no problem. I actually have a Bone Crusher 500 which has the same spring as the HG500. Don't waste your monye unless you jsut want it as a conversation starter haha.

  • To be honest, I will be satisfied with a hg350 crush. Think I found my training regime. I'm doing less and making better gains. Training my hands 3 times a week, plus 4 hand/forearm exercises 3 times a week was killing me. I know rotate each week. 2 times a week grippers, 3 times a week other hand/forearm work, and vise versa.. Also started doing inverted gripping with a longer pause and slight after crush.

  • What are you on now? The 350? This video is old.. 350 is my goal in 6 months.

  • @kbi35 I've got a 350 but one of the grips is crazy smooth. I can do it but i have to use my other hand to keep it from sliding out of my palm. I can get it to click for about 6 reps but it doesn't count because of the other hand. I'm not about to put a video of that up so i can have tons of people complaining about it not being real or not counting haha.

  • good shit man im workin on the hg350 but u shud grease that gripper to squeaky lol

  • lol thats a loud one xD

  • impressive bro .. how big are ur Forearms ??

  • Nice job!

Check my channel for AtomgripZ GRIPPER KEYRINGS!

  • holy crap, good stuff =)

any tips on getting the 300 closed?

i can only do 2 or 3 reps for the 250 and barely make the 300 budge

  • You've gotta jsut keep doing the 250... the more reps you can go with it the easier that 300 will be. I closed the 300 the first day i tried it, but i was able to do about 15 reps with the 250 without resetting inbetween. These things really arnt that good to train with if thye ar the only thing you use. incorporate other stuff deadlifts without reverse gripping. pullups using only for fingertips. Grips more you strong but you lose dexterity. mix it up and lots of different things.

  • Do you think doing 12 reps with the 250 will get me 1 good close on the 300? I'd be pretty estatic.

  • @kbi35 You should be pretty close

  • Thank you. It's my goal before the new yr.. If you get the chance, rip hard cardboard from heavy TV's for 30 minutes straight.. Very grueling. I tried it at work.. I had torn skin on my thumb and index finger, so I hand to mainly use my other fingers.. And doubling the broken pieces..My thumbs, fingers were pumped like a ballon.. I do work in a warehouse, so it's also easy to get a good work out when my other work is done.)

  • holy shit, good stuff =)

any training tips on getting the 300 closed?

i mean, do i need to do negatives on a 350 or something?

cos at the moment i can only close the 250 2 or 3 times and barely make the 300 budge

  • I just closed a HG250 once (left hand, but right hand I am sligthly behind as I was silly and got injured). Seeing how easily you handle a HG300 for reps is impressive and tells me how much strength is a relative thing and grippers don't really hurt the thumb, it's just about having the strength to close them. Interesting your advices on using grippers more to show off and train also (you say...only) other ways for dexterity and hand's health. I was thinking right the same in this period

  • word

    thanks homie

  • about how long is their lifespan then

  • The bigger they are, the less time they hold their tension. It takes thousands of closes to weaken a 200, probably only a few hundred to weaken a 300. The 400 i got was jsut a piece of crap.

  • i have some heavy grippers too

question: do they loose their resistance over time and use??

  • They def do. I have all of them and my 200 is now almost as easy as the 150. I sit in the car and do the 200 when im bored haha. I have an HG400 that is easier than the 300.

  • they don't lose resistence at all

it's only because your hand is increasing in strength...so when you can close the 300 the 200 seems pathetic ..

but pass the 200 to a beginner and it won't seem pathetic any more.

  • are these useful when armwrestling or what?

  • They will def help with arm wrestling. Sledge hammer levering will also help a lot...

  • tnx i'll try to find myself such a 'tool' :)

  • That is some serious grip strength, very impressive.

  • Nice... If it's a 300.

  • After about 5 tries i was unable to get the hg300 to focus so i didnt bother. I was hoping people could tell by the size of the spring, but like always, there are critics.

  • Well, if you can do a 405lb one hand deadlift, you must be able to close this gripper.

  • If you put baby oil on the top of the HG it wont make that squaky noise ^.^..

  • We can't see whether it is an HG300 or not, but I believed you when I saw your 1 arm 405 deadlift...nice work!

  • I tried over and over again to get the camera to focus on the 300, but it wont focus on anyhting that close. I dont put movies on here with hopes that people believe they are real. I do it to show what you can accomplish with hard work. I try to show people that they can move beyond the limits set forth by conventional thinking.

  • @delmole85 Just looked at some old comments of mine on here, I got this for 5 now, I think I was at HG250x1 when I first posted that comment :)

  • nice work!

    question for everyone:

do ur knuckles ever crack when you use these? i just got a set and im worried just in case im doing myself harm!

  • When i first started using them they did crack sometimes. now they usually dont unless i havnet used the gripper for awhile. Try cracking them first before you use the gripper haha. DOnt do anyhitng that actually makes your hands hurt. Having strong hands is cool but is not worth screwing them up

  • Can you please post a video of the HG350 close?

  • What are a couple of your bests on grippers?

How close are you on the CoC#3?

  • I can do the 350 for 2 reps but i have to use my other hand to keep one of the sides from slipping becasue it is defective. It came from the factory with a smooth handle. I dont really train with hand gripper of ever train hand strength at all. Throwing hammer discus and weight along with excessing ammounts of woodworking is what has built my hands up. Ive actually never tried a Coc3. Never met anyone that had one. Im not gonna waste $20 just to see if i can do it lol. Maybe someday...

  • I you can close a 350 x 2, then you can probably do a #3 for 3-4. An avg. 350 is about a 3.25-3.3+.

  • I can close my 200 about 40 times and my 150 forever. But some reason the 250 only 2-3??? Do think its heavier then what it says??

  • If you have worked to the point with your 150 and 200 that you can do them forever, you might have worn them out. metal loses its tensil strength after it has been bent thousands of times (even springs). Also you might not be going about grip training the right way if it is your goal to be able to squeeze things really hard. Try working with the bigger grippers more instead of working for endurance with the lighter ones. Heavy weight and low reps... Just like lifting weights.

  • Dude, you did get it to click on the 12th. I can hear it.

  • Yeah,I heard it, but barely (over the squeaking) so you should count it regardless!

  • good stuff. I can close the HG200 in my right hand for reps but can't close it in my left hand yet lol

  • my right is stronger too.. its pretty crazy to see the difference...

  • I'd be afraid to shake your hand...I can only close the hg200 12 times, hg250 3(see my vids), and on the hg300 I still have a small gap to close, but then, I'm only 16:) Great job.

  • good work! when i first got them. i could close the 200 20 times i believe and the 250 7 times and the 300 once. I work with my hands alot and im a thrower too. dont work to much with grippers or your hands will start to become deformed. you lose dexterity. if oyu want to strengthen you hands, do things that promote good dexterity and coordination. if oyu do that for a month or two, the 300 will be cake. Just use grippers to show off, not to work out with.

  • Yeah, they're GREAT show-off tools. You can't drag your bench press around with you, and you can't always carry a set of 60lb dumbbells and start ripping of curls, but you can always be ready with these:)

  • I can't even get the hand grips parralel on a 150. Soo this, is just insane. I have the hand strenght of... of abu hamza.

  • Thats ok, everyone starts somewhere. The best way to build hand strength is the start a hobby that involves useing your hands alot. Grippers are just a way to show off lol. Improving dexterity is better than being able to squeeze things hard

  • Wow! Really impressive!!

I am working on my 250 now, but the 350 seems impossible!

Have you gotten the 350 in the mail now? Would like to see a video of you closing that bastard;)

The HG200 is harder than the CoC#1, but a little easier than 1.5

  • I actually got the 350 in the mail and the grip is slightly screwed up on one of the handles. One of them is smoother than the other. That make it really hard to set in the hand. If i set it to parallel and use alot of chalk i can do it though lol. (thats cheating)

  • Thats crazy man! you need a coc #3

  • I've got a hg 350 comming in the mail!

  • very powerful hands! I just got my HG's about a week ago. I bought the 100-200-250. Could close the 100 day one(probably could close a 150 too) and today I can get the HG 200 to almost click. I don't have small hands, but I would consider my hands "thin". But it is funny even after only a week, to take my grips to school and watch bigger guys fail to get even close. Some guys can't even get the 100.

  • I had a personal best witht eh HG 300 of 10 times close to a click, I'll see if I can get it on here soon.... honestly I had worked with the 200-250 alot.. in June/july I was stuck at 8-9 close with HG 300.. with using the lighter ones alot its boosted me up to 10

  • Try stopping using grippers for like 3 weeks and start drawing or doing some other type of activity. then go back to the 300 and you will do it 15 times. I would put a movie up of me doing it more times but I get enough "this is fake" comments already

  • dude, gimme some workouts, i have about a 1cm gap on the hg300

  • I would be happy to give you some if I had any lol. I dont actually workout with them. I do alot of wood working and ot stuff with my hands, so they usually get worked out enough. Just keep at it. Do reps with the smaller ones like you would with weights.

  • the 300 is hard, great stuff, 5 stars, I'm thing of getting a 150 just to do while watching tv, It kills alot of surface fat in the arms

  • well done thats impressive shit. can you close the 350 yet,im still trying. and yes there is a click at the end .. defo the hg 300 this yea?? ;)

  • I'm too cheap to buy the 350. I dont evne have an Ironmind #3. I need to get one of those first

  • I don't call it closed until I hear it click. still a good job though.

  • You can hear it click every time besides the 12th rep. The sound is a little bit behind for some reason. It is like that with all my videos. Anyone know how to fix that?

  • damn i just bought my first set and i can close the HG100 fairly easy and i can close the HG150 a few times on each hand but i can not close the HG200 and up.

  • hold the grips close to the springs, the lower you hold it the easier they are

  • I dont know how big this guys hands are but he's got the proper grip and I doubt he can hold it lower or higher. The Manual that comes with the set says to flip it around in your hand to change the exercise.

  • the only IM grippers I have tried are the #1 and #2. The IM #2 was harder than the HG200 but not quite as hard as the HG250. Im assuming the IM#2.5 is close to the HG300. Thats just a guess though. never take the weight ratings seriously. there is no way it takes 300lbs to close the HG300

  • I dont think it was ever meant to mean the actual weight... I'd like to figure out how much force is needed to close them.

  • I bought a set of HG100/150/200 grippers then bought the IM #1.5 and #2. The HG200 is a tad easier than the #1.5 i find, i can close the HG200 10 times each hand but only 2-3 times in each hand for the #1.5

  • wow

how does that gripper compare to the iron mind ones, which # is it close to

  • how much inches big are your forearms "gripper king"?

  • i dont know haha

  • THats pretty beast.. Go for the 350, I've only gotten in 2 times
