the guitar part is absolutely wrong. you're playing the right chords (G/C) but the fingering is in the wrong sequence. You also have the rhythm & the feel totally wrong. plus, you're singing is too forced. you have the voice to sing it well but you're trying to be too dramatic, lighten up. but the guitar is really off.

it has nothing to do with electric or acoustic. how long have you been playing, 3 hours?

Actually the first lick that starts off the song and that's repeated throughout the song sounds much better on acoustic then the thin sound it gets on the recording, but I agree that repeating that picked arpeggio throughout an acoustic version would be boring. I just recorded myself doing "nutshell" by alice in chains, I should upload it.

You're right, I don' use tabs. You know I taught myself that song in the 90s long before internet sites with tabs became "fashionable". I then tried to figure out a way of playing it acoustically and that's what you see here!
