  • guys i have a 1964 ih cub cadet garden tractor and i cannot find anywhere to find what the carb settings are to hold and idle nice and my govenor isnt moving when it does run for the 30 secs it just sits there and ive been told thats suppose to go back and forth fast to regulate the gas properly can anyone help?

  • i would pull that fucker its nice

  • wrong color

  • @TheKimberlynoah no ur wrong, it's the right color

  • If I'm correct, International used to own Cub Cadet. I'm not sure if they still do.

  • no offense that is an awesome mower but if it was a cub cadet why did you put international on it?

  • @byrongondi because it's an International Cub Cadet, from '61-'81 MTD bought them out in '81.

  • i live in wilmington, about not even 10 miles from coal city. do you live in coal city, or was that just where the engine work was done. if you do live there it would be awsome to come see it.

  • i need to edit/update this video.......The 12hp K301, a week ago today died..trashed the rod, piston and lower end of the cylinder wall. i figured now is my chance for something bigger. So....i was able to get my hands on a K341 (Kohler K series 16hp) with only 190 hrs., new head gasket and some seals, its now up and running like a champ!!

  • i now know how to mount a gas tank to my roper rt-10 hahahaha

  • howd u do the pto

  • Very nice!! Is the pto in the back functional and did you have to make it?

  • @junkman6261 The PTO is just for looks as of right now.

  • how much u want for it?

  • @mustang1714 Not for sale!! getting handed done to my son.....

  • As RedneckRickem would say, Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!!! hats off on the restoration.

  • @hadon272 RedneckRickem is a low life dead beat dad scum bag......Or if you wish a piece of shit...

  • @BeaverCleavage1 Thanks for your input.......

  • @hadon272 No problem just the truth....

  • sweeet great job bud !!!!

  • Awesome!!

  • nice job.. i like it!

  • good job man

  • how much is tha toy i like and i want it

  • @MrWilber85 I put maybe $300.00 in to it. I'm a welder so all the add-on parts were hand made. Will never sell it, giving it to my son when i find my next project.

  • Hey, now that's a pretty cool lil 'ol toy! Not terribly useful, but still very cool. If I were you, I'd look into competing in some tractor pulls with that little guy. I'd bet you would do well (with different rear rubber - need v-bar Ag style R-1 tires). And heck, even if you didn't win any pulls, I'd guarantee that your tractor will turn a lot of heads and you'd have a lot of fun!

  • @PITBULL35383: Evidently you don't know much about older lawn & garden tractors. He put a 12hp Kohler in it because that is probably what he had around or could get his hands on easily. Plus, the old Kohlers fit in those older tractors well, because they are from that time era. Not to mention, that a 12hp "old-school" cast-iron single cylinder Kohler will flat out-torque (crush) your wussie 20Hp modern junk Kohler V-twin that is in your throw-away Husky lawnmower. Most modern stuff sucks. Kudos!

  • @PITBULL35383 you wouldn't think 12 hp would be enough but i have a cub 100 with a 10 hp and its the perfect power to weight ratio it can plow in 3rd gear at high idle and it doesn't drink gas, i have a 18 hp craftsman that i could plow with at idle, it never ran out of power, but it drank gas like no tomorrow, does yours have a horizontal or vertical shaft engine?

  • @Bobbymitchell10 i have plenty of pulling power with the 12 hp, does the job, with no problem. plowing snow or dirt, it never bogs down, if extra pulling power is needed that's what the creeper gear is for. I was about to trash the whole thing, due to a blown 10hp, a buddy contacted me and told me he has a John Deere, with a 12 hp Kohler, i could have. And i was able to complete the project. It just worked out. I wish everything was that easy.....

  • nice job.

  • @tays164diecast Thanks..it does the job..and more!!

  • Is that the original color? Nice. What is the paint number / name / paint code?

  • @bearbon2 Cub Cadet Yellow #759-3263 (quart) from a local Cub Cadet dealer.

  • @reitellep79 Thank you for the reply. I like that shade of yellow so much I'm going to paint my Panzer tractor with it - and If I really feel brave I'll paint one of my Gravelys Cub Yellow and take it to the next Gravely Mow-in. That'll raise some eyebrows but I doubt I'll be getting any award for it.

  • @reitellep79 how much is the paint

  • wow at frist it looked bad now its like wow it was blown up and i would of not put them jegs sticks on there and the other ones that me tho not u but its still nice

  • @cub7721 It did look bad, almost not worth messing with, but it has come along why after changing my mind 100 times. I have a thing for stickers, but the Jegs and others stickers were all removed, not long after applying them.

  • @reitellep79 ohh lol man it looks really good

  • where did you get those front rims?

  • @alecm94 ..original rims, i used a 1/2" drill bit, i was going for a different look. The 2 halves of the rim are welded from the inside, so it's still tubeless.

  • @alecm94 ..Original rims. I used a 1/2" drill bit.

  • now thats a tractor

  • nice tractor

  • where did u get the suitcase weights?

  • @pawpycoo I made them, using 1/2" plate and other scrap, then welding 3 pieces together to make one.

  • hmmm...that gives me an idea.

  • @pawpycoo I made them, using 1/2" plate and other scrap, then welding 3 pieces together to make one. @2:00 you can see the weld on top.

  • Thank you everything for the kind coments.

  • nice job , looks cool

  • Can anybody out there name the group or guitarist that plays this music? It rocks!

  • im more of a jd guy, but that is an amazing looking tractor, i wouldnt mind haveing, it, would u be willing to sell it? and about how much would u want for it, lol

  • @alauffer28

Sell it?.....not a chance!! I've had a hand full people stop while it sits in the yard, when i'm out doing yard work, asking if i was willing to sell it... nope not today!!

  • @reitellep79 - Hey, Cool looking IH! So, what became of the rear pto? I may have missed seeing it after the tractor was done. The duels are sweet! Good work and good job on the viedo......the song was very good as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @warchildren1 Thank you very much

  • Wow! Awesome video man! Great job on the ol Cub!

  • Man,That is so cool ! A hard job but yea WOW!! GET ER DONE DUDE TWO THUMBS UP SIR!!!

  • Thats one nice looking tractor, great video! 5/5

  • wow, what a beauty, great work

  • very nice work

  • must be nicee... how did ya put the duals on?

  • looks great

  • internationals are RED

  • @Timcoty69

Oh really?? you don't say.... And it's a INTERNATIONAL Cub Cadet. Google it!! IH Cub Cadets from the 60's and 70's. let me know if ya see any red ones.

  • Very nice job! Id work with ya!

  • nice

  • I normally like original on the older stuff too but i have to say, that came out great! everything just fits! the front looks better with the IH emblem on the headlight panel then the grill. I would fab up some over size fenders and put your lights on the fenders, like the old IH tractors.

  • NIce

  • looks great!

  • Get your murry tractor out of the garage it don't deserve to be in the same building as a cub

  • @Louisvillelegend09 It's long gone!!!

  • Beauty! Very cool!

  • very very nice cub cadet

    great job

  • nice man..maybe someday i could do that..i love to do this stuff and tinker with them

  • i love the colors!!!!

  • Sweet looking cub!!! I like the hubs you have in the tires making it look like a dually. I wish i was creative enough to make something like that!

  • yehh lol i wouldnt run anything shorter then a 10in pipe or watever but open headers dont really do anything ethier its just that u should have a pipe of some sort on there. we have a ole rototiller idk wat kinda it has a techusmec 8hp open headers ands its really really loud i love it sounds good but we dont use it lol i just mess around with it

  • Your gonna ruin the valves if you run that thing straight piped for more than 10 hours.

  • hey its not gonna do anything to the valves we have all of our farm tractors straight piped ever since we bought them. and we have trucks and garden tractors straightpiped it dosent do anything

  • Oh yeah, whoops

You just need at least 12" of pipe.

I've noticed though from my 128 being run straight piped before i got it, It has alot of valve gunk.

  • jet62095 good for you, everyone is not like you, i think it looks fuckin sweet ..good job!!

  • I, as with many other Cub Cadet enthusiasts like them original or with minor modification. nothing major.

  • hey im with u man i like them original 2

  • hell yeah!

  • :D aint nothing better lookin than a orinigal cub cadet but the tricylce front end ones look pretty sweet im gonna build on out of a cub 100 or 70

  • Yeah those look pretty good, just keep it yellow and white!

  • I like cubs original, I don't like modifications so much. You could've avoided the frame modification if you had just used a Kohler K-301 instead/
