take 5 men with m16s and 5 with AK47s. now, imagine that 2 of the m16s don't work and all the AKs do. in that case you'd still have 3 guns that are more accurate versus 5 "reliable" AKs that couldn't hit the side of a barn from any type of range.

these aren't person to person guns, they're assault rifles.
