The latter. I actually like open notes, but for some reason, I rarely ever chart them. There are two songs I have used them though. Final Boss and Death Egg Zone.

because the studio in gh 5 doesnt allow for the real sounds which is some horse shit if you ask me but it is still an epic chart

You can get some more realistic sounding tones in the chart. He had to chart this a semitone up since drop D# isn't really intended in the studio. Still sounds good like this, even if the tone isn't exact.

They play Drop C#, which is Eb standard with a dropped 6th string, on Kezia.
