ive had this phone for like 2 years now. dropped it a million times. all the chrome trim paint has chipped off and the plastic case is splitting. the screen has a crack in it but the touchscreeen still works absolutley perfect. its never froze or crahsed once. the keyboard is great. all the battle damage and character is great. this is a fantastic phone for its class.

This phone used to need a data plan but it doesnt anymore because Verizon changed their policy. It used to be that any touchscreen phone required a data plan but they changed it so now only smartphones need the data plan (droids, blackberries etc.) So this phone can be activated without having to pay the $10 data plan =)

Verizon sucks now!! Ever since iphone was released, they're leeching so much money off there customers. Mandatory 30.00/month data for basically every phone except old 90s style flip phones. Plus, no more "new every two" which was a $50/$100 discount for a new phone when your contract was up. Miss the old verizon :(

@EddieDare I think they still have the new every two deal. They say I'm elgible for a new phone (I guess it's been 2 years for me and my LG Chocolate Touch). But like you, I want a touchscreen phone, but NOT the mandatory data plan. I hope you are wrong with what you say. Because while I would like a new phone (I "tolerate" my Chocolate), I certainly won't if I have to pay $30 extra a month. That's retarded IMO.

Fucking worst phone in history. The screen cracks easily, it glitches up, repetedily restarts itself, turns itself off randomly, screws up your messages, and the brower is THEE WORSSTT brower in history. No downloading, horrible internet. :|

I own this phone, it is a piece of shit. It runs BREW? which is a dead and horrible internet browser. Absolutely no upgrades and not possible to upgrade. Almost no apps what so ever and absolutely no free ones. The screen becomes unresponsive if using a screen protector. Battery life is horrible after about six months. The ONLY upside of this phone is the hard keyboard, and verizons network.

ive had this phone a year and a half now and its still awesome. the people who say it sucks are those spoiled rich kids who can never get something good enough. its basically a nice looking touch screen phone with handy apps such as internet access, a music player, and many more. its perfect for those who want a touch screen phone, but not a complicated smartphone.

@fabulousa889 no they dont. they discontinued it. you could probably buy one on ebay or something then get it hooked up to your account. but you'd be better off getting the updated version of the rogue, which is the samsung reality. i have it & i love it. basically the same phone. same style, but a bit smaller and sleeker design. also comes piano black and city red!! :) hope this helps. the downfall of the reality is, it does not have flash on the camera.. the rogue however does :P

and now when i want 2 delete my txt messages it turns off when i hit erase and when it turns back on they still be there
