That's nice. But it uses anaglyphic stereoscopy, which distorts colors a lot and requires the glasses. Parallax barrier seems to be the latest commercial technology for 3D, and since that's autostereoscopic (no glasses) and doesn't distort the colors, I'll wait for those to be commonplace before getting a 3D webcam.

I estimate that will be sometime in the next decade.

I tried two different pairs of 3D glasses. One like the movie theater style without the Red and Blue headache vision and one with the Red and Blue. Neither of them worked. Granted the image we were seeing wasn't very, big, but I've noticed there really hasn't been well done 3D since I saw Honey I Shrunk the Kids in 3D.
