According to the 2001 Guinness World Records, Apollo 10 set the record for the highest speed attained by a manned vehicle at 39,897 km/h (11.08 km/s or 24,791 mph) during the return from the Moon on May 26, 1969.

That wasn't a camera dork, it was the hi-gain antenna, and the object was just debris or ice from someone taking a piss.

Apollo 10. That's the one where they flew the LEM down to within 60 miles of the moons surface?
Was it Apollo 9 when they flew the LEM for the very first time but just in earth orbit?
Apollo 8 orbited the moon but didn't have a LEM on that mission.I think.
Do I got my Apollo's right?

The LEM got to less than 10 miles off of the surface on Apollo 10.
