  • anyone know if this is a totally separate song from Golden Slumbers? I'd love to splice the 2 together without all the craziness at the end :-)

  • McCartney wrote some great stuff along with plenty of fluff, but for its time this was simply a brilliant composition - i've always deeply admired it. I've also always wondered why it never got much attention that Led Zeppelin so obviously stole his riff at the end of this song and shamelessly turned it into Stairway to Heaven. It was such a blatant rip off - never understood why McCartney didn't sue...

  • Spahn ranch and Manson. Him and Faul McCartney were quite close. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

  • There are 3 dislikes on this video they must be people who don't like the Beatles because if you do like the Beatles you would say this is a great song

  • Funky orgasm! 2:28

  • What's there not to like about this song, Mc Cartney does a great job once again !!!

  • 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 all good children go to heaven

  • 1 fucking douche bag hates this

  • there's something about the way he sings 'funny paper' it's so good. 'Fuuuuuny Paper'

  • amazing

  • Favourite Beatles track, that's all, plain and simple. Oh that magic feeling.. nowhere to go..

  • UN FUCKING REAL!!!!!!!!

  • I know the song talks about the beatles' issues with their manager, but i simply have to post my vision of it. So a girl always asks her parents for money, they never give her any, she tries to get on her own..but ends on the street..But still she's so awfully attracted to 'that magic feeling..nowhere to go'...And she dreams that someone will pick her up in a limousine..someone finally does, and to feel better while she give herself to a stranger she sings that nanny carol to herself...

  • @tirtunemdouq That is actually a very good interpretation.

  • STOP SOPA NOW...and keep the free flow of informatio and music alive between the comman folk...urrr..the masses :)

    Great song BTW :)

  • Who sings starting at the line "Out of college, money spent."

  • @ZombieTurtle2 Paul.

  • @ZombieTurtle2 Paul sings. It's his another voice, lol. Like in Why don't we do it on the road, or The ballad of John and Yoko.

  • @Crisstti the ballad of john and yoko was John Lennon

  • @Elasqueroso89 Yes, but Paul sang backup vocals, that's what I meant (the kind of voice he uses)

  • smoke crack.. that is the message of this song.. word up.

  • 3:03 Macca sounds a lot like Robert Plant!!!

  • love mccartney's songs, there all like 3 or 4 dif songs in one, the beatles were the fucking best between paul john and my personal favorite george how could ne1 beat them

  • I like the part from 0:01 - 4:05

  • @ohalohal1 really I like it from about 0:00 !!

  • @ohalohal1 WHY ARE YOU LEAVING OUT THE FIRST SECOND!!!!

  • my son Dillon says This is the best song on lp. (he is 13,,, some kids still LOve good music)

  • @anicemonster4you yeah, if only they hadn't injected the subliminal (or is it 'sub-aural')"kill" after the 9th repetition of 1234567, etc. (3:53). Poor Sharon.

  • This is one of my favorite Beatles songs of all time. I'm not sure why, but it's one of the first I ever listened to, and I love it so much. It's got so many different elements to it, it's really a masterpiece.

  • Zero dislikes!

  • this is like the original song about pimping.

if you think about it, the beatles gave birth to rap.

  • STFU

  • this is a remaster? this is a horrible mix

  • amazing bass .

  • WTF, remaster and 240p?? thats stupid!

  • @VIRIATO1995 That refers to image quality, not sound.

  • @Dodo251 no, a video in 240p can't have hq sound (only 128kbps). hq sound is for 480p+ videos. And 720p videos are allowed to have 320kbps sound.

You can have a 240p video with the best quallity sound, but when you upload it to YT at 240p, the sound will be downgarded.

  • @Dodo251 Try to listen the same song in a 480p or 720p video, it's much much better

  • Notice Paul is out of step on the cover - does that mean he's dead... LOL

  • @LiteracyLabyrinth2 yeah. and he's barefoot (in englad, they're buried barefot). AND, he's got a ciggie in his hand (GASP). all important clues!!!!!! :-D

  • @LiteracyLabyrinth2 People think that Paul is dead because when you reverse Gratitude says "I was william campbell". What a faggots, do you think that the fake paul mccartney add messages saying that he is dead ? And why The Beatles added clues to the songs ? It should be a secret dont you think ?

  • @GORDENFRECHMEN

Paul actually admitted to them leaving "paul is dead"clues...

Brian Epstein thaught of it as a publicating stunt for when people would start losing interrested in them, since they weren't recording stuff like Please Please Me anymore.

So when Epstein died, the Beatles went crazy with leaving these clues. here's an article about it: beatle (dot) net /paul-mccartney-admits-beatles-planned-death-hoax/

  • @STimo95 That is a great article, thank you. I well remember at the time, most people thought he was dead. Many, even today, insist it was only due to a DJ's comments, but I knew all along the Beatles themselves are responsible for the rumors.

  • @SeattleLA

Thank you, I really liked it myself.

I was personally always a bit sceptical when it came to the paul is dead stuff, but when I read this article, I saw that it actually makes sense.

  • @STimo95 You're welcome. I was only about 9 years old and I wondered if the story was true. The Beatles were known for not admitting to things. Makes for great folklore...and record sales!

  • not there most famous song but anything the Beatles sing turn into gold instantly

  • Fuck My Parents Beatles For Life.

  • Best Band In The Planet Status. Street Cred. BOW

  • America should listen to this song.

  • @KiteTheRunner WTF do you think we've been doing since 1969?

  • Notice that there are no dislikes.

  • At 1:32, Paul sounds like Robert Plant. It reminds me of some song of off Presence or In Through The Out Door. I think "Hot Dog"?

  • @LedZeppelin2055 Eat. A. Dick.

  • @ggc74 ...what the...

  • 1:10 -Love the ragtime piano/blues in this section.. and I also love the guitar arpeggios at 2:48.. Heck the whole song is just brilliant....musically it sums up the eclecticity of the whole album.

  • Amazing Song !, Great performances, Paul 's singing is crazy he does all the lead vocals, he should have won a Grammy for it ! and "Oh Darling" but no !!!

I wounder who won for best male vocal that year ?? anyone know ?

  • When broke, listen to this song.

  • O, that magic feeling: nowhere to go.

  • @jluke68 Love that part.

  • just love all the songs from the ABBEY ROAD album...!!! love the BEATLES...!!!!

  • "Out of college, money spent, see no future, pay no rent..."

How did the Beatles predict the future?

  • we get to hear many of paul's voices on that one!

  • Strabiliante esercizio di pura Arte, nessuno come Paul McCartney, voce stupenda, compositore eccelso, chitarre celestiali, che Musica ragazzi...!!!!!

  • @sophiaophiaxo carry that weight came after this only the origional vinyl, so why does carry that weight sound like this

  • @qazwerty10101 NNo on every record Carry that Weight is in the Abbey Road Medley at the end.

  • @qazwerty10101 I'll try... Manson/123456-7 murders, and He's STILL carrying that weight. Sub-aural 'KILL' at 3:53. Stay away from acid !! LOL

  • THE BEATLES = REAL MUSIC

  • Why does this sound like Carry That Weight.

  • @sophiaophiaxo

There was a short reprise of this song within Carry That Weight.

  • Epic Bass Line. McCartney is a very underrated bassist

  • @TheJesusofSuburbia94

He plays bass for one of the most well known, if not, THE well most known band in the world. He's far from underrated, but that's not saying he isn't fantastic.

  • @AntiJonasZone well I was just pointing out that a lot Beatles fans are all about Lennon and McCartney is sometimes looked at as that other guy. which personally I think he is a far more talented musician and just as good at writing.

  • Oh that magic feelin', oh were did it go?

  • Cómo tuviste que trabajar con estas piezas fuera de serie, genio Ringo!!

  • Comment removed

  • <3

  • Great bass!!! thanks sir McCartney.

  • Just listened to the tracks from this song separated from one another (guitars, piano, vocals etc.) - amazing! Just search for "yngmym" and you'll find it.

  • 0 dislikes ftw!!!

  • nowhere to go

  • They should have named themselves The unBEATabLES though.

  • @valeriosp I don't get it.

  • Beautiful :-)

  • 2:29 onwards - amazing.

  • paul is a really good singer

  • @TheIMonstahI yeah he puts a lot of feeling and meaning iin the songs yah know

  • Wait... The start is Golden Slumbers, except with slightly different lyrics... Can someone please?

  • @TheMasterOfLols The part you hear in Carry That Weight is a reprise of this song (if you mean the "I never gave you my pillow" part...

  • paul's voice is amazing - how he manages to sound so different in each of the three different sections, especially the 'one sweet dream' part. and the three different parts fit together perfectly as one song. he is a genius

  • @look1492 it's about practicing.. he got the talent but he had to train to use it.

  • lead singer JOHN , sensacional.

  • @shekemkhet That's Paul McCartney singing, not John.

  • tema sensacional de este album, con un talento musical fuera de serie. tema 10.

  • Yes - one of the best off of the Abbey Road album. Kind of sad in places, with the lyrics.

  • i couldnt agree more i love the Beatles now and forever they are an eternal inspiration to musicians everywhere

  • Love this song personal favorite from abbey road
