it's not that mirko didn't know how to defend the high kick it's that he didn't see it coming due to the elbows he took on the ground. as for kongo. dude he's nothing but a low blower lol. i'm surprised he got away with all those knees to the nuts.

Since his move to the UFC, he's gone downhill. Obviously, in the vid, he loses to Gonzaga... or should I say "receives his comeuppance at the hands -- er... foot of Gonzaga, and in UFC 75, Cheick Kongo basically outdoes 'em and makes it look easy. I kinda doubt him coming back stronger with anything unless he switches and steps his game up.

Did his training revolve around mainly that kick? Cuz dat's mainly what he's known 4, even tho his punching is nice and his takedown/ground defense. And if Fedor didn't get so damn close 2 him, he probably woulda kicked da shit outta him like he did Alexandre... my view.
