  • yo mrpixletech? where can i get your custom map world thingy? i wanna try it out.

  • Klaypex! Nice. The difference in growth is really surprising.

  • I'll stick to old style of farming. It's space saving and for me it don't matter if I get my wheat 10-15 mins earlier. But this was another nice video.

    Klaypex FTW :P

  • Lol...I watched the whole thing..fascinating;-) Am I weird?

  • The thing about this that you have to note is space, even though rows makes wheat grow faster, you get more wheat in the same time with full out...

  • @yamxa996 RIght, that's what time lapse 1 showed. Rows are always faster for full growth... but it's so close that you'll still get more out of full -out.

  • Dubstep Guns! Hehe

  • The fact that you put this video to Klaypex makes you even more epic then before....

  • Great Job

  • (on my phone so excuse the terseness please).

If it checks north AND south first, then why not place in east/west rows in sets of two then an empty tilled row. That would let you compress the space taken by ~33% and still keep the maximum growth speed. Am I mistaken?

  • does each chuck try to grow wheat each tick, or is it at once?

I.e would you gain grow rate by splitting up ur farm in 4 chucks?

  • @EFT202020 honestly, that question is much easier answered by having you watch the "optimal farming - wheat" video... I'll add a link in the description now (and no, not trying to drive my views up, it's just a LOT of info to cover).

  • @EFT202020 The short answer is yes, each chunk tries to update 20 blocks within it every tick (1/20th of a second), a single block per chunk can be selected multiple times, each block that's chosen that's a wheat block runs an algorithm from there to determine if it'll grow or not.

  • @EFT202020 no because then there would be 1/4 of the farm in 4 chunks which would equal out the same rate as having it all in one chunk

  • Im still listening

  • So mrpixel we learned today that wheat grows faster in rows instead of a big patch of wheat? :)

  • @TheUlsfark nope, we learned it's more probable that it'll grow faster. but not always, just probably

  • @TheUlsfark What SuperStishious said. Honestly, a lot like we learned last time - the probability supports rows but that your harvesting style should dictate how you build it.

  • @MrPixelTech i think you mean "what SuperStishious'es comment said" =P

  • @MrPixelTech I couldnt find part 2..

  • @TheUlsfark Oh, and that everything is awesome when you time lapse it to dubstep, even watching grass grow :D

  • watching grass grow part 2 only you could make this interesting

  • @sk8alien3721 ROFL, thank you :D

  • can't wait for pumpkin/melon episode

  • This is way cool! I love all your videos! Your my Minecraft geek! lol

  • Thanx for doing this experiment. I actually only farm this way now because i get board of mining and building and want to come back and do some farming and this is a good amount of time.

  • I really wanna see an episode about chicken eggs (the time it takes for them to lay and the other factors like how close you need to be).

  • SuperStishious'es. SuperStishious'es. Damn....that is weird to say

  • Why do you not let me sleep?

  • @kerckmars Because then I'd miss you >:D

  • must resist the urge to comment about being one of the first views...

  • again?

  • @SuperStishious Hey man, the nation requested it :)

  • @MrPixelTech i requested it too. i just wanted a part 3 of the timelapse =P

  • @MrPixelTech digging the song btw lol

  • @shananM06 Klaypex is AWESOME! I'll be using more of their stuff in the future.

  • Wub wub wab wob wub wub

  • First

  • Epic music :D
