Anyone can improv, the real question is wheather you can swing and thats what the stereotype refers to I think. This guy swings all right but hes no Zoot or Benny but good video!
@fullboxacrayons Oh man you're so wrong. He was 90 years old on the vid, and you apparently don't know him. Benny Carter > Zoot Sims. When this guy is considered as one of the best alto sax players with Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley and Paul Desmond.
