  • Hi, just wanted to let you know that I followed this recipe and my hubby and kids raved about it. I did the crisping skin step at the end and it really was fantastic. My gravy was so good using the juices as well. Thanks for posting everything that you do.

  • This is an AMAZING recipe!! I am a crock pot cook..I use it at LEAST twice a week..and we are raing our own chickens..and we freeze them whole!! WONDERFUL..I may try it with that tough old rooster tomorrow!

  • In California the whole chickens come with the giblets wrapped in paper inside of the carcass. I'm assuming you need to clean and prepare your chicken prior to freezing?

  • @ktaksa i clean it with cold water, and pull the innards out. then cook it. Try not to handle to much, or defrost it under the water. Just a quick rinse, pull the stuff out, and put the chicken in cooker
