I dunno if it has been said already but the boss is really easy if you use the spring coils, charge them like the M.Buster (nomal weapon) and then use the up button so that the coils go very high and even hit Shade man in the air. That way he never lands and does his normal attacks.

I'd play this over MM9 any day,seriously what were they thinking taking away the baseball slide and charge buster,those have become as much a part of megaman as his helmet. You might as well have batman without his baterangs and batmobile.

@kayokango Well, I don't think they're that important. Yeah, sure, they screwed up by taking them away, but that doesn't mean MM9 is a bad game. However, I for one feel that the charge buster defeats the purpose of the special weapons (So I don't use it, simple as that).

Imho the worst game in the main series (not including Mega Man X, Legends etc.).

I didn't like the level and enemy design (Shade Man and Turbo man. Wtf....). Nevertheless it was something new back then..

I'm really glad about how MM9 turned out.

In the dark part, you can light it a little using the Thunder Bolt, or if you have the flame wheel, you can light the candlesticks on the wall

Yes but chargin' the Wild Coil makes it easier. But that weapon doesn't make sense to me as a advantage (HOW THE HECK can SPRINGS beat VAMPIRES?!).

They really tried to showcase the SNES graphics on this one. AWESOME TOP NOTCH animation, & cool lil special effects like the moon materielizing in the back are just great.
