This is a stones tune ... written and recorded during Let it bleed sessions, but not released till Sticky Fingers. Although Keith has said GP reinvitorated us and injected country into the stones - GP did not write it - and I love GP
i understand the listed credits on this tune but be advised that this is a gp tune and the original lyric is "ill be in my basement room me and my 80 proof"
Never heard that. I knew that Gram hung out with the Stones, Keith in particular, and that he was quite an influence on them, but never heard that this was a Gram Parsons' tune. Where'd you get that info? What's your source? Just curious.
enjoyed watching this. Great song, great cover, nice simple acoustice and the electric sounds good. vocals are decent, but lacking the jagger country style
great cover

Hey danopiano,
Check again, bud. Its a Rolling Stones original. Not to take anything away from the great Texas tunesmith, but Townes cant take credit for this one.
