yeah i gues i was kind of insulting... as a make up for it, here is the solution to ur query: to record LP's to a mp3, either use a TRS/RCA converter to switch from analog (black/red) to digital, available at radioshack (jusk ask em!) or buy a digital turntable. OR jsut use the headphone jack from ur receiver! and PLEASE dont buy music and then not use it! thats exactly what makes those old analogue bubblebath's so gorramn hard to find! CURSE YOU COLLECTERS!!!!!!!! what a waste if vinyl, eh?
