@aharrirwassup: I run it hard and put it away wet! My red banshee has had it run that way for 11yrs on 32:1 and still has super high comp and when I did pull the head off to take a look the cross hatch marks are still there like new. Not a stock machine either!

the reason its so smoke is because hes probaobaly running like 50 to 1 which is way to rich he needs to be running 30 to 1 or 36 to 1. i had the same problem with my lt 250 and then i slowly switched to klotz racing oil 36 to 1

dint chop the throttle its the oil in the fuel that lubes it . and cutting its supply at 12k rpm wont help engine life . and once you have it broken in you might try going to around a 40/1 oil ratio [use caster oil]
