i more than agree with how you guys feel. before Blue october, the only other bands i had ever heard who even remotely came close were depeche mode, placebo and the cure. the difference is is that with BO...EVERY SONG they wrote i can relate to on some level. yes this song, and picking up pieces are 2 songs that when i hear them, they contain such raw emotion that explodes! this band is my personal jesus, and if there were a church of Blue October, i would definately be a hardcore follower!

We completely fell in love with BO and bought ALL the CDs we could find the day after we saw them for the first time (House of Blues, Orlando). What we couldn't find at Best Buy, we bought online. Also just bought Justin's book. WORTH THE READ!! BUY IT!! No, I don't work for them and if you ask them they will verify that I am just a fan.
Book is called "Crazy Making". Lots of interesting information about the songs and pics of his little girl and him....along with other pics of the band, etc.
Even if you haven't dealt with the exact issues, most people (me included) have dealt with the emotions Justin deals with and that's what makes him so endearing to so many of us.
You are just amazing!! Really...we need more songs about the shit in everyone's lives and not just the break-up and "I saw a cute boy today" scene. =]
