@wisewarrior7 It could be... but Abel is french and Charlie is american, they have completely different accents and reactions to things. But they do look a like, except Abel doesn't have glasses, he appears to have a haircut, he is more muscular and wears different clothes.

@TheMunchlaxboy Abel/Charlie just happened to have been in France.Maybe that's where the base Chrlie went to was.Who knows what Charlie would be shaped like in Street Fighter 4 graphics,and I'd expect him to be wearing different clothes.His would have probably been all torn up when the mercanaries found him in the ruined Shadaloo base.I don't know if those glasses Charlie wore were for reading or not.He took them off when he fought.

For all those who think the man that saved abel is charlie ...think again. Remeber in his rival fight cutscene with guile he said that he had seen that move before, he may as well have seen it when seth was doing it before his memory became all fuzzy.

Ok,here's my theory.

Bison created Abel using DNA from both Seth and Charlie.

I know it's farfetched, but didn't Bison have Charlie kidnapped at one point? He could have taken a small sample and used it to create Abel.

And my second theory:

Capcom is trying to mess with our minds.

Third Theory:

Charlie saved Abel, which was already mentioned, and Abel had a hero worship moment and made himself look like Charlie.

Abel may be an advanced clone of Seth ; They share some regular basic moves(if I'm right) , they have basically the same body shape. One thing to note is during Abel's Ultra ; his eyes become the same as Seth at the beginning of the Ultra

it's highly implied that Charlie is the man who took care of Abel.

As for Charlie being Remy's dad, that's a bit more unlikely. Considering that Capcom officially stated that Remy is connected to neither Charlie or Guile.

I think Remy and Abel do have some conection with Charlie, Because in sf3ts Remy is angry because his father perfered being a warrior than to be a dad. not to mention Bison knowing Able like thet had a past, and Remy doing moves similar to Charlie's. They are connected some how and we'll learn about it in Hyper Street fighter 4 part 2. lol

abel actually do look like charlie if u look closer, his hair for instance it has that foward arrow thing that charlie had, only shorter wich was probably caused by the explosion. his scars were also probably caused by the explosion. and in his prolouge when he has a flashback of when he got injured, it was fire all over the place also done by the explosion. there is a huge chance that this is Charlie.

Remy should be a bit young at this time and Capcom says Remy has no connection with Guile or Charlie. So it would be anti-climatic (and a bit humorous) if Abel answered Guile's question "I saw some young teen who's unrelated to you and Charlie do a Somersault lookalike".

Check Abel's head. The all are pale yellow except the ones on the center. I think he is Charlie. Guile's Prologue, Guile got a dog tag whose name is Nash Charlie. in Japan, Charlie's name is Nash. Anyways, I think Abel is Charlie. Just have to wait for Capcom's official storyline to be sure. I just had the game here in Japan, Cant wait for RE 5

Those same building's set ablaze in this Prologue are in Rose's Prologue. I'm guessing that's the building from Alpha 3... (But in Alpha 3 the base was underground) Abel must've been helping out with Shadaloo During the time of Alpha 3... Just guessing..
