I've come into this tete-a-tete very late in the game, and as I understand it, VFX is long gone, and the even worse Geerup has taken his place, but for all of the reasons you've mentioned toward his character, I'm sure many of the comments he got weren't just negative, they were offensive and equally moronic to the content of his videos, in which case, I can't blame a person for deleting comments that read "Your a dummy."

Sometimes I've wondered what keeps VFX from exploding due to bad reasoning? Sooner or later it has to catch up with him that he's not got a clue about what he's talking about. It's like watching VFX play a game of Tetris, turning the bricks faster and faster and eventually get a hole in the wall, then they start to add up and eventually ... BOOM! What VFX does now is sort of like flapping his hands over his ears He's not very bright, he knows how to talk a lot but he has no clue how to listen!

Well actualy I agree .. I come from christian family. And I never filtered my knowledge by the bible. I think BIg part of those bible fanatics is based on FEAR and BRAIN WASHING. My mother has been a christian longer than you have been alive and knows the bible better than most people I know. I asked her 3 months ago, after reading the book of John and the Revelation for the umpteenth time, to explain to me in clear language and show me specific PROOF where the Revelation PROVES anything..... I'm still waiting on that explanation. Put up a video of your PROOF that the Revelation is coming. Before doing so, learn the difference between prophecy and self efficacy.

Yeh well either way science is a man-made assumption...If the earth survived for billions of years and progressed from the beginning until now, then it should continue to progress not deteriorate as it is now and as God said it would in the Bible. Roughly 98% of every living species on the planet has gone extinct for one reason or another. We are simply what is left over from the trials and errors.
The earth suffers violent eruptions of storms, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.... I don't see that as perfect at all, but rather imperfect.
Not perfect in the way that nothing bad ever happens, but perfect in the way that the world has all the nutrients and elements to sustain life. If just one or two things were not present it could cause everything to thrown off...but not sure what you believe so...just wondering

Blue, the evolutionary process has nothing to do with the origin of the earth, space, time, etc... It is just the progression of species over time. I does go into the formation of single cell organisms, etc, but the theory starts AFTER the formation of the earth.
Physics / Quantum physics takes over from there and takes us back to the formation of the planets, mass, celestial mechanics, etc. None of which requires a "God" as the christian god is taught.

Because he holds a literal interpretation of some things that are categorically wrong (young earth, special creation, biblical catastrophism), he thinks that god and science are in opposition. Well actualy I agree .. I come from christian family. And I never filtered my knowledge by the bible. I think BIg part of those bible fanatics is based on FEAR and BRAIN WASHING. That every thing that dsn't agree with the bible in 100% could be considered as SATAN in their opinion based of FEELING of FEAR and redemption .. Not taking either side. Just would like to know if there is accepted scientific theory of the origin of particles, atoms, molecules etc. In order to exist they must have had an origin, right? Looking forward to seeing the results of the LHC project (if they ever get going), and if they find the 'God' particle etc...Hopefully some answers will be provided before we are too long.

very well said. i just wanna point out to a christian that choosing to be atheist is not easy. many of us wish we could believe in god, but we simply no longer do. this leaves us searching for our purpose and questioning if if the purpose even exists. we also behave and act morally with no thoughts of an afterlife. we do good believing that we will receive no reward when we die. who really has it harder?

My mother has been a christian longer than you have been alive and knows the bible better than most people I know. I asked her 3 months ago, after reading the book of John and the Revelation for the umpteenth time, to explain to me in clear language and show me specific PROOF where the Revelation PROVES anything..... I'm still waiting on that explanation. Put up a video of your PROOF that the Revelation is coming. Before doing so, learn the difference between prophecy and self efficacy.

Yeh well either way science is a man-made assumption...If the earth survived for billions of years and progressed from the beginning until now, then it should continue to progress not deteriorate as it is now and as God said it would in the Bible. Well the christian God i know has all the answers so I'm not sure what else you would expect out of God...I also don't say "God did it", i have the Bible to back me up which does contain scientific ideas we only just found out within 200 years ago.

There are numerous books that did not make it into the bible. The writings of Genesis were not an eye witness account, the Revelation is unfounded prophecy and the writings of Christ came nearly 100 years after his death.

Blueaccord19, Yes, the earth is complex, but it is simple and elegant at the same time. I do not agree with you that the earth is perfect or has evolved "perfectly". Roughly 98% of every living species on the planet has gone extinct for one reason or another. We are simply what is left over from the trials and errors.
The earth suffers violent eruptions of storms, volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.... I don't see that as perfect at all, but rather imperfect.

Sure, things could be different, but they aren't and we only have our tiny frame of reference to base it on. What makes us think this world is even close to "perfect". There could be a far better arrangement, but we have no reference to see.

Blue, the evolutionary process has nothing to do with the origin of the earth, space, time, etc... It is just the progression of species over time. I does go into the formation of single cell organisms, etc, but the theory starts AFTER the formation of the earth.
Physics / Quantum physics takes over from there and takes us back to the formation of the planets, mass, celestial mechanics, etc. None of which requires a "God" as the christian god is taught.

That is a fair point and one I generally agree with but if the problem were just a small minority and not taking over Kansas & Dover PA school boards we could move on.
I do agree that I don't want to make VFX anymore of a celebrity then he already is, but again, for the followers that he does have, education is needed.

Christians might, VFX doesn't. Because he holds a literal interpretation of some things that are categorically wrong (young earth, special creation, biblical catastrophism), he thinks that god and science are in opposition. Guess which one he thinks should win? Hopefully one day he'll see that science cannot say anything conclusively about the supernatural, and that faith and science aren't mutually exclusive. Of course, then he'd have to apologise to Thunderf00t, and what are the odds of that?

Tf00t's approach is a bit too high-minded for VFX.
Tf00t does a good job of killing off VFX's arguments, but VFX disregards the information and picks out the insults. Anyone can see VFX's child-like behavior from this.
I'd love to see VFX's "witty" rebuttal to this video that shows him for what he truly is - a narcissistic loud-mouth with an agenda that involves his personal gratification using his religion as a prop.

Did PCS really think people would believe him when he said he would allow comments? Even those who don't remember what happened last time he did that can see he's too warped to change. Good video by the way.

I am not a fan of the fact that VenomFangX is essentially the face of Christianity on YouTube. It is truly a sorry situation and yes... I am a Christian. I believe in evolution and the scientific method. I struggle with doubt every day and freely admit it. Mine is a faith that seeks peace in my own heart and not cultural power. Well said, nudsh.

Great Video, a lot of people are getting riled up about the situation and perhaps understandably so given previous experiences, so it's refreshing to see somebody new approaching things in such a calm articulate manner, I hope to see more from you and that calm exterior won't be eroded away by the abrasive nature of creationist arguments. :)

Epic, Subscribing don't let me down :P. Just my two cents. I was raised Roman Catholic and came to my own and decided anyone who judges another that lives a good life but doesn't match up perfectly is a fool tossing stones from a glass house.
I now wander around pulling tidbits from one religion or another. Deciding for my self what and who god is, the honest truth is I don't know, the earth is not 6000 years old and he/she doesn't judge us like they would scare you to believe. Just a thought.

Thanks for the support.....sometimes, things are just simple and rational.....traits that venomfangx does not employ. I feel for him as I know his intentions may be decent...it is his focus on self rather than the outward compassion a true christian should possess that ruins his entire tact.
