  • So, if the "big flood" did not kill fish, only land creatures: Then why did all the dinosaurs living in the water die out too? I am very disappointed by this movie. Nothing mentioned here is doing more, than confirming the theory of evolution.

  • @flamifer1

I'm not a creatard, but I thought I'd point out that all Dinosaurs were terrestrial. Pterosaurs, Mosasaurs, etc weren't Dinosaurs.

  • Never found a missing link? Ardipithecus was a creature that was walking upright, obviously something between a monkey and a human being. To deny, that there are no transitional forms is like saying that there are no dinosaur fossils. Natural selection has a very limited aspect? Proof? The bible certainly is a "supernatural" book. "supernatual" means "ignorant". The book of Genesis was written by someone who was there? Really? Because the book says so?

  • Yes, scientists have to be secular, or they wouldn't be unbiased. Imagine, how it would hamper science, if they had to assume, that earth was only 6,000 years old from the start. And yes, people believe, that the earth is round and turns around the sun. Not because, they do not want to believe in a creator, but because science has proven it to be so. Creationists need yet to prove, that evolution is limited to micro evolution.

  • @1:40 'If it's 72% water...' NO DUMMY. The earth is mostly ROCK. It is just covered by 72% of the surface in water.

Water is not unique to earth, the origin of our water is from outer space.

Darwin explained evoluton, not creation ''without god''.

I can't listen to this ID-iot any more.......

  • Perhaps they have it backwards and the sumarian story comes from Genesis. Not directly now. Presuming that there was a Noah and a world-wide flood that killed everyone, but this man, his 3 sons and their wives. Then every ancient civilization that came after them would have some sort of story about a flood and life being saved from that flood. And we do have such information. There are flood storys found in areas all over the world. Naturally as people get father from the true story it devolves.

  • the genesis story of the bible is taken from the sumarian epic stories. re: atheist vs. creationist, it's plausible that the truth is somewhere in between. evolution is quite probable but there were beings(that were highly evolved and technologically superior) that experiment with the homosapiens.

  • in my book it says youre a moron. it must be true. for its written in my book. and its written by me. and i am my god.

  • i felt dumber after listening for a while :\

  • Grow up humanity, I can make these connections from the Iliad written about the same time as book one, but much better read.

  • Genesis is fiction:Most bible colleges teach it`s allegory:As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peak

  • What an idiot. Water is common in our solar system. Just take a look at all the ice-comets, the moon Europa, the asteroid belt, etc. It is actually the most common molecule in the solar system after Helium and Hydrogen-molecules.

Water also seam to be quite common in other solar systems, but more study is needed to confirm this.

  • Why does he think all scientists are secular just because science is?

Darwin is popular because he explained how evolution works, natural selection.

Origin of Species not origin of life, IDiot.

  • "Many, many people... want to find a way of explaining their origin in a purely secular world view". How strange, and how telling to assume that - were there any evidence for the creationist view (evidence, rather that this genial vaudeville) - it would be discounted in an objective analysis.

  • What an utter failure as a human being. For shame on you, pitiful excuse for a human.

  • AIG almost makes me embarrassed to live in Seattle. I guess Boeing and Microsoft balance it out pretty well though.

  • The basic problem is that NONE of the people who attack evolution have actually studied it. If they did, they would of course see that there's nothing TO attack. It isn't a Satanic Conspiracy, it's simply the description of a process, providing a very useful taxonomy and a way to understand relationships. I see no way around this problem of ignorance. And it will become far worse if we allow these untutored people to drag our science education back into the bronze age.
  • you are absolutely right

  • Can somebody besides me come up with a funny joke about how this dipshit is an expert in parasites? I don't have the energy.

Seriously, fuck this guy - he's beyond mockery. . . just a bummer.

  • what are they writing it down for?

    dis is jst scary

  • We find liquid water nowhere else in the universe...

My brain nearly imploded from hearing this nonsense.

  • where else is liquid water found apart from earth?? please prove where luquid water is apart from earth?

  • There is no number high enough to count all the places in the universe where this 3-Atom molecule is most certainly found - even in liquid form.

Granted: That's just a guess. But we're talking about a nearly infinite universe. Claiming that this simple molecule (made from 2 of the 3 most common elements in the universe) is earth-specific in the range from 0°C to 100 °C is just mind-blowing.

  • fair enough but you need proof that liquid water is found elsewhere other than earth. Just bcos the universe is big dosnt mean automatically mean that water is abundant. Also the universe isnt infinite, it is finite and it is still expanding. Infact the universe is nowhere near being infinite

  • ok, let me answer to that question. While we collect all the data about where you can find water in the universe to give to you, prove that te universe is not infinite.

  • Ahh so that's what that feeling is. I've been watching so many creationist videos recently my brain must look like the kingdome.

  • What an unspeakably irresponsible quack this man is! Really. I've seldom heard so much calculating nonsense, so much confused thought. Unbelievable!

And my impression of this guy pales before the thought that his audience must be several times MORE confused.

  • This man truly exemplifies the Argument from Ignorance. I almost though I was watching Ray Comfort or Kent Hovind here for a minute, until I realized that this man's argument couldn't even come up to the standards of those two. Lack of Knowledge =/= Knowledge of Lack, and once again, Evolution should not be saying anything about the origin of the oceans, stars, planets, galaxies, the universe, etc. For theories regarding those, Oceanology, Astrology, Cosmology, Physics, Biology, gg.

  • "Something exploded from nothing and here you are. Non-living chemicals got together and here you are again."

While that may sound improbable (esp. the way you explain it) it sounds considerably more plausible than the fairy story in Genesis.

Please keep posting these videos. The truth will set you free one day.

  • Perhaps these will help.

  • Sorry mate, you really do need to go back to school. I wish you well in your mental rehabilitation, but i'm afraid the odds are not good.

  • @markjeppo What have you read of the Bible?

  • I'm still shocked that anyone can take this stuff seriously. Welcome to frontal lobotomy time!

  • Something exploded from nothing and here you are. Non-living chemicals got together and here you are again.

  • @BereanBeacon No one says ''nothing exploded''. It was an expansion of space-time. You are still made of ''Non-living chemicals'

  • Hi @BereanBeacon,

I had hoped, you could answer my question about how creationism explains the pattern of fossils in the rock layers. I suppose, this is the end of creationism then? I too, was looking on all the creationist websites and an answer to this question was nowhere to be found.

I was also trying to find an answer to the question: If the universe was only 6,000 years old, why then can we see stars, that are farther away? I guess, the bible is not God's word, after all.

  • what a liar, we've seen in fossils that fish turned into amphibians, amphibians turned into lizards, etc. Also, evolution doesn't go into creation, or abiogenisis. Only speciation, hence the name, Origin of Species. not life

  • Evolution was created to undermine western civilization by our pagan leaders. What better way to undermine us, than to teach our sons they descended from Monkey's. How people believe in evolution is beyond me.

  • ...I think you mean Religion was created...

  • Yeah, created by God, to fill a void in our mortal being. How, why, who and how did we get here. Certainly you don't buy into the myth that man is a genetic mutation, related to Monkey's do you?

The Bible gives man dominion over the entire world. Instead, learned men want to obtain their existence from mutant matter.

  • Lrn2skoolplz kkthxbai.

Oh, and I'M IN UR MANGERZ, KILLING UR SAVIORZ!

  • water does not create itself!

  • It's very simple. Take oxygen (O2, a real existing gas) and hydrogen (H2, another real existing gas) and provide a suitable energetic source and poof you have water vapor. The most common completely non-biological process there is. I can demonstrate it for you in the Lab. It's not supernatural or anything wacko amazingly...

  • Ok, so how do you get Oxygen on the surface like the moon? Remember plants consume oxygen, in order to make oxygen. Earth must have looked like the moon at one time!

  • Plants consume carbon dioxide for photosynthesis which releases oxygen.

  • Actually plants consume 35% of their oxygen they produce, and they can't live in an environment without Oxygen. For instance, if you took the plants to the moon, they would die as soon as they were exposed to the atmosphere.

  • But hey! They are lying for Jesus so that makes it OK!

Btw. Darwin said nothing about creation. He made observations that contradicts the literal interpretation of the old testament. That is, he made real world observations that differs from fairy tales.

  • There is no evidence that atoms created themselves, or everything I see around me created itself.

I am not a genetic mutation! I am not a worm!

I man a mAN created in teh image of GOD! Given dominion over this earth, not created from nothing, self created, from lesser beings, I have been given dominion over.

  • If you believe in God... how do you even know what God looked like? Why should God even be a Homo Sapien? If "God created the world and everything in it in six days", why shouldn't he look like a Ferret? Perhaps God was a Giraffe? Or any one of the other million or so species on this planet?

Oh, by the way, there is scientific evidence from physics that demonstrate how atoms and form and destroy. Now that I think about there there is no scientific evidence of God... Hmm...

  • I do know this, that God is brighter than the brightest sun and that no mortal man can see God and live. This is why God hide Himself in a cloud in the dessert and lead the Israelites around the Holy Land. We will all see God soon enough.

  • No water elsewhere in the solar system??? We "don't know where the water on earth came from"? A few minutes in and already two lies!

It doesn't matter if people like this have degrees or not. They are liers. Not fools... Just simple, plain liers.

  • No water elsewhere in the solar system???

He said "liquid water," you douche.

We "don't know where the water on earth came from"?

No. Do you believe the oceans came from the trace amounts of H20 on asteroids after they impacted the earth? Yeah, that sounds likely...

  • There is probably liquid water underneath the surface of europe, which is a moon of jupiter. Also, he says there is no liquid water elsewhere in the universe... how does he know that? Also, we know damn well where the water on earth came from. "trace amounts"? a great proportion of objects in the early solar systrem consisted of... that's right... ice! There are also clear indications that Mars had liquid water in the past.

Wikipedia: Origin of water on earth. You're welcome... douche.

  • I don't remember him claiming there could be NO water outside of Earth. In our solar system, we suspect one distant moon has subterranean water. That's nothing to scream about.

"we know damn well where the water on earth came from." ???

There are some ridiculous hypotheses, sure. That's hardly knowing "damn well." If you want to believe the VAST oceans of Earth were formed from asteroid collisions, go for it. But you can't blame us for being skeptical of that kind of absurdity!

  • well, can you blame me for being skeptical of talking snakes, invisible men in the sky, getting results of prayer, a "giant flood that killed everything except the things on a big boat" and then the earth was repopulated in about 4000 years, with all the animals neatly in the right place? The earth only being 6000 years old despite dating methods pointing to billions of years, in accordance with other dating methods, astronomical, geological AND biological data?

    FACTS define reality. Not belief

  • No, I don't blame you for being skeptical of those stories. I think you should be skeptical of any claim.

You're mischaracterizing several biblical stories, though. Feel free to private message me if you disagree.

  • It is interpretation of the data. Data that would damn evolution is ignored when it doesn't fit on the evolutionary time line that men of science vote on. They have to vote on the best way to explain it to the public, so that the public buys into it.

  • No. Hydrogen would be the most abundant element in the universe (74 %) and oxygen would be the third (1 %). Clearly, the chemical components of water and water itself aren't exactly "trace"!!!

Scientific evidence demonstrates that water is a major component of volcanic emissions, and given volcanic activity has persisted continuously for 4 Ga, expert scientists would safely argue that the water on Earth was derived from volcanic degassing throughout Earth history.
