  • thank you MATTSTER!

  • Yes, I saw that episode while just flipping through channels and I was taken back. I know this band probably had incredible potential. I had never heard of this band until I saw that episode of Intervention. The lead singer of the band seems to have amazing talent. The whole thing has just really caught my attention. So sad...such wasted talent!

  • To Mr. Ouutlaw, the lead singer of this band, I'm sad to report, is the feature on tonight's episode of "Intervention" on A&E. I don't know what the end of the show will tell us, but his family is doing an intervention on him because of SEVERE alcohol issues. Usually the featured people on these shows turn out OK. You can watch this episode if you go to the A&E website.

  • This band is awesome..And I would have never heard of these guys if it wasn't for m169marroquin....

  • They have they'r own little dave mustain on the right there

  • @yroslav lets hope he gets kicked out so Cryhavoc fans can have something to argue about for 30 years

  • m169marroquin brought me here

  • A contract for several albums was at Spinefarm Records signed. In January 1998, began in Tico-Tico Studio in Kemi the recordings for the debut album "Sweet Briers," which turned out much more melodic than the demos and in May of that year appeared.

In August 1999, was the second album "Pitch Black Blues" in Finland, published shortly thereafter in Europe and in December in South America.

The band still exists, and the contract with the label is still active.

  • @mare2469 Hmmm... anyway, they are not going to do anything I guess :/

  • Cryhavoc in 1992 under the name Preprophecy than classic death metal band founded. After recording several demos, in 1996 the bassist and drummer left the band. As a replacement were Taneli Nyholm ( Babylon Whores ) and Matti Roiha of the Finnish band Absurdus set and the band name on Ravens case changed. Absurdus received a recording contract when, and Nyholm Roiha went back to her regular band.

  • I always meant that the album was called Sweet Beers, it was Sweet Briers actualy, anyway :)

  • I was watching a movie today and i read on the screen "HAVOC" and than suddenly I thought on this band, the riffs and the vocals started playing in my mind, I couldn't remember on the exact name so I started with searching through my old metal collection and I found it - Cryhavoc - Sweet Beers :)

I used to listen this album like 4 - 5 years ago, and then I couldn't find anything about them, so it is same now.
