No he switched because the FCC was going to make him financially responsible for any violations. Lets look at Howards "supposed" battle with the FCC. I was flicking through a few tv channels yesterday, and Britons got talent was on(re run) I find this piece of tv to be vile, degrading, embarrassing, a modern version of the Victorian freak show where people are brought out to be laughed at and ridiculed with a few allowed to have their talent judged by talentless judges. This offends me...so do you know what I did, I stopped watching. No need for someone to decide for me if I should watch or not. Fuck any censorship organization.

Not true! It stinks! Howard fell off hard he like Rosie O now & he LOVES Cathy Lee-his show features people i never heard of & it's easier for him because he's old & rich..Less work. So disappointed, Howard's washed up now. So not the same as it was.

he switched to sattelite so he wouldnt be censored and constantly blocked by the fcc he didnt sell out he made the choice so he could continue his show the way it used to be befor all the ridiculous censoring why sit and try and do a show thats constantly being censored when you can switch to something were you dont half to worry about it shit if he can do his show without boundaries and make good money more power to him

No he switched because the FCC was going to make him financially responsible for any violations. Lets look at Howards "supposed" battle with the FCC. During his entire career, not a single dollar was paid towards any FCC fine by the broadcasters of his show. He never went to speak before congress or any senatorial sub-committee. How exactly was he battling anything? His last year the station coughed up fines, because it was held hostage. Bye Bye Howard. Pussy!
