  • the non-ignorant MAN BEN LOKA HOOYEA I LOVE I LOVE

  • You can turn the temple into a club, turn the club into a temple, or go clubbing with Krishna in your living room. It's all good, just as long as you remember who brought you to this dance. Whenever you think of Hari with devotion, wherever you may be, this is Harinama. And once you think of Hari with devotion, He will find you, wherever you are -- there is no escape.

You one righteous Bhakti, Ben. Please don't change. Hari bol ... rock on.

  • LoL Spiritual clubbing. Thanks for sharing! Hare Krishna!

  • well im a hare krishna and hair is a dirty thing so you are supposed to cut it off, but if you are you yogi all your power comes FrOm your hair,.

  • Your indian acent is very good ! Lol

  • There's no goal to life, anymore than there's a goal to reading a novel. It's just a story you've been reading, and now you've become identified with the character of Ben, so that's who you think you are -- and you experience relative joy or suffering based on what he goes through. It's really a big cosmic joke though. No guru can give you anything -- only point to the truth within you. Outward sadhana is good. Best is total surrender to the divinity within (i.e., Krishna, or love itself).

  • @dirtyhippylovechild actually there is a goal to life its called self relization!

  • zapuściłeś się

  • Wow, you have alot of followers. It's lovely to hear other peoples experiences! And good to hear that the devotees were all nice. Whatever you do though, dont listen to any criticism about any other vaisnavas or gurus in the line of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, thats the biggest caution I have about hanging around some devotees. Good luck on the path!

  • Thanks for the nice video. Brought back the memories of the days when I was hanging out with the hare krishnas. Even though I am not one any more, I am still kind of thankful to them for waking me up from the sleep of materialism.

  • dawn of the age of enlightenment . kali yuga . might not seem like it but good things take time . out nothing comes everything . after all what is inside a seed .nothing. All glory to supreme being . peace & love . abd may your god be with you

  • The goal of life is to complete and balance ur negative karma and reach enlightement and get out of the cycle of birth and death.

  • this one isnt supposed to make you laugh though... hes just showing us what he did for the 3-4 months that he was gone.

Glad you didnt have get rid of the hair ben haha, deffo was something fascinating to watch and that.. be nice find out a bit more about the views and thoughts of people from the temple =]

  • HA!

  • the meaning of life?

    i have

    NO IDEA. xD

  • The goal in life is to try to find a goal to life and pursue it.

  • Isn't the goal of life 42?

  • No thats the meaning of life.

  • ok ummm lol amazing racist jks ur cool

  • My belief is that our purpose in life is to develop ourselves spiritually by practicing virtues. An analogy to describe my understanding: A baby develops for 9 months in the womb. It develops appendages, eyes, ears and so forth but they do not serve much of a purpose in the womb but are meant for use in this world. It's the same with the spirit: in this world we are developing spiritually for an existence in a spiritual world. The child does not sense the world outside the womb- same for us

  • Some do

  • the goal of life for me is to stay away the belief in a god because it makes you depend on someone other than yourself.

  • the meaning of life?

    there is nothing to attain.

  • You probably do the same

If you went to india and you were forced to work by sociaty

They would be saying exactly the same about YOU

  • wht?

  • heh. you guys were doing stuff in harrow :)

Are those the rooms in iskon? I had no idea there were rooms.I do agree upon the fact that Iskon has such beautiful grounds. I don't,however, know why our entire family loves going there despite none of us believe in god. I just think it's very pretty and awesome.

Oh yeah, and just to be original,42.

  • Oh, you met my guru maharaj!

    sadhu-sanga, sadhu-sanga — sarva-sastre kaya

    lava-matra sadhu-sange sarva-siddhi haya — (Cc. Madhya 22.54):

Just through a moments association with a saintly person one can attain perfection.

Radhanatha Swami ki jaya, Ben prabhu ki jaya :)

  • seems like a beeffy vacation

  • Omg! I was in Harrow when that took place! :]

  • sexynesss lol love this your my faverotie

  • tricking yourself in to beleiving you are happy all the time is not good. it is simply delusion. emotions are for a reason which is to tell you what is good and what is bad for you. in my veiw you can only be spiritualy happy when you come to notice the equal beauty of every one of gods creations from the sunset to the peice of excrement on the paper you used to wipe yourself. thank you for listening to my veiw.

  • "A combination of a bedsheet, a nappie, a dress, and a sumo wrestler's outfit." LOL!

I am so happy that you were able to get this experience. You can learn more living in a temple for three months than many devotees livining outside a temple do in five years.

  • Hariiiiibol...

    16 that's quite impressive.

Most likely you have seen that video. In any case, I am the devotee from Argentina, my brother is the one giving my a hug and my mom the one talking among the other devotees... It was a few years back. I'm in Chicago now working as a college professor in a small town nw of the city.

My kids love to watch your videos... we laugh a lot. Keep it up!

I need to pick up my bead bag...

    Thanks for writting back.

    Adios!

  • hey!! what temple were you at because I just got home from london and i visited the london soho temple last Friday for arati at 12 30 and i came a bit after the sunday program!

  • Oh you should have told me you were there, I would have said hello! I wasn't staying at soho street but I go there sometimes too!

  • Your video recalled to mind my first 3 months living in a temple. I'm glad they let you keep your hair, they insisted I cut mine. I suppose I could have objected, but that's not really in line with the whole surrender thing is it? Anyhow, nice to see people enjoying time in a temple.

  • hari bol my hari nama buddy! great video... look forward to seeing more. are you going to come on another harinama soon? ys, sachin

I missed you so much that I tried watching the videos of the people who asked you the questions in "on the couch with Ben Loka" but it wasn't the same...

  • By the way, I think the goal of life is being on the couch with Ben Loka.

  • the goal in life is to be happy and informed

  • The 'goal' of life is to 'score' as many times as possible...

    Wahay

  • You really remind me of russel brand sort of ! haha. Great vid! x

  • Same haha.

  • omg he so does! i just watched forgetting sarah marshall lol

  • I was watching this while there was country music playing in the background on my computer, though I didn't realize it. As I continued to watch I pondered, "Why would Ben Loka put country music in the back of a hare krishna video?"

    woops.

  • haha, yea, why WOULD I do that.... its ok though, I kinda like that you gave my video a country theme, next time I'll wear a cowboy hat and hopefully I'll seem more relevant

  • benjamin loka, the goal in life is obviously to mix lime jello with orange gatorade and then shove it down your weird uncle's hairy back at the family reunion. only to have him yell at you.

  • yes!

  • The beginning made me giggle. I'm glad you came back with your sense of humor.

My life is leading me on a religious journey too, but mine brought me to Orthodox Judaism. I'm early in the process of converting, and I have never felt more at peace in my life. I'm glad you've found something that speaks to you as well. May we both reach spiritual peace and a meaningful relationship with God.

    i shall be entering. x

  • Welcome back!!!!

  • HARE KRISHNA PAMHO AGTSP~~ VERY NICE VIDS MAYBE YOU CAN GET INVOLVED WITH US AT harekrishnaworld108 HAREBOL ys bhaktabob

  • I've met a few Hairy Chrishnas in my time.

  • For me the goal in life is to live it for God: the best you can and in reflection of his word. : )

  • how can you be sure there is a god?

  • I can feel His love and I know that He's put me here for a reason. The timeline of the Bible is plausible and there are loads of examples of evidence.

  • no your brains creating all this in your mind because you need a god figure in your life to make it worth living if you didnt youd see know point and perhaps brake down into depresion which is not good if the body wants you to pass on your genes

the timemline may be plausable but what evedence is there to suggest that any of the bits proving theres a god is true apart from shear hopping

  • I'm not very spiritual or anything but I just think like the goal of life... is to live.

  • thats nice

  • I think the goal of life is to live.

    You said that.

    Now I'm saying it.

  • The Goal of life is to have a meaning of life. Then you can start to do whatever that is. When you've done that, you've done about everything

  • true lol

  • I dont want the prize (you couldn't pay me to read that bollocks) but I'll respond to the question here:

There is no 'goal' in life except for those that you set yourself.

Although knowing you you're probably on about "The Goal of Life", written by Murtadha Mutahhari, Divinity scholar and general waste of space. Fortunately someone shot him like 30 years ago.

    Happy New Year!

  • Dabby Thats just mean man.

  • The goal of life is to find the meaning of life, and after my long-lasting search for the meaning of life I have found that it in fact lies in, not the number FORTY TWO, but the phantom chicken and egg. They will haunt you for the rest of your life if you cannot work out which comes first.

  • ...hey, you changed... you're not like before... man, you used to be cool... man... coolll.... xD

ahah lol Just kidding! 5* and even just because is you.

  • yayayay! you're back! i hope you had a great time and it helped you lots, etc!

  • first i would like to state that there is a vast difference between the "goal" of life and the "meaning" of life.

    ok now for my answer

the "goal" of life is whatever goal one sets for themsevles, because its a very general term.....

  • I love Russel Brand. And the swine probably loves. me.
