  • I had the same audio issues, just returned mine

  • I had turtle beaches and this happened to me at the start i know that this is probably NOT the problem. HOWEVER sometimes the crackling/feedback noise is because the actual headphone volume is to high.

For most headphones you should set the Headphones volume on 75% and then use the PC's volume control to alter volume from there on out. I know its not your problem just thought i would help out. PS i got these and i love em! except i cant find the software to change settings >:(

  • Don't buy these, they suck ass hell. I have them, and they are crap

  • Haha, I got mine for 80 bucks, and a second one for free.

  • @Manhunternew what country are you from? if so where did u get it for $80? :D

i wanna get a pair for that price.

  • @CHEUJC I'm from Germany, EU.

  • Getting these tomorrow.

  • in europe cost the

    g35 99,- euro

  • you got connection problem whit the sound tahts not problem of the serie its the one headset you happened to buy so logitech will re-pay you 200 dollars OR send you new pair or the headset that will work. So call them and you will be supriced happily :) ps. i paid 80dollars...

  • The great thing about this? It's logitech, they have probably the best costumer service in the world. No doubt they would've sent him a new one for free.

  • It probably was defected try the g930s they are better.

  • i got them for 5000 INR.

  • you got ripped the hell off, you by them for like $85 on amazon....

  • dumb noob

  • Chekk out the rating??

I think u were just unlucky buddy!

  • @LeboPrince47

Yeah mate that's is what I think too.

  • @learnhowtoweld great minds think alike :) sorry for the late reply btw

  • @learnhowtoweld my g35 headset works fine its a good headset for music i don't get crackling its just a good headset

  • @buckley9999 i just bout one u rekon its a good choice for gaiming? I hear so much noobs complaining :( ahahha that rhymed

  • You have no pants on.. Awesome..

  • My G35 works amazingly.

  • You're just unlucky, mine works perfectly.

  • 200$ ? you dumbass... they cost 80 euro's! that can't convert to 200 bucks! it's probably cheaper to send it to you from here!

  • @wortelcake 2009

  • i think it's the USB port that's causing the problem. Try using another USB port.

  • Nice leg xD

  • I recently did an in game comparison of the G35 and the Sound Blaster Tactic(3D) Sigma headsets before purchasing. After a week of testing I purchased the tactic(3D) Sigma headset for like $80 USD. I found them to have slightly better sound quality and vastly superior build quality.

  • You're actually right despite all these negative comments, I've had the exact same issues with crackling, and some odd high pitched noise, and with the velcro.

I've been speaking to Logitech support, and they're actually looking like they'll send me another G35 as it's a known issue (I've seen this elsewhere online), definitely give them an E-mail through the site! GL

  • @ZeTaEXiSTeNZ

Of course I know I am right, too many tossers here who know better hey. I took mine back to the shop for a full refund. But they did seem like a kick ass set of headsets, I will get another set one day when I can afford too.

  • @learnhowtoweld Yea get that a lot online, especially here. I was just shocked at how many people act like it's fine. It's definitely a great Headset got mine for £35 so can't complain.

Btw, I'm moving to Australia next year, never been, but I'm dual national. Any tips for living over there? :)

  • @ZeTaEXiSTeNZ

Any tips for living over here, lol. Fucks me mate. Hows that for an aussie answer. Well I guess you gotta be able to drink lots of piss, be a fisheman, go camping, lol.......We just have a nice layed back lifestyle over her I guess.

  • lol the velcros are falling off (Pull on them so the glue ters) "im not very happy with that" learn how to use headphones idiot

  • Why would anybody buy from Harvey Norman? $200 man you got ripped off! Even Dick Smith is cheaper than Harveys. I would never buy anything from HN with their 200% mark up. Just a note but try a different USB slot, I had this problem with my last pc one of my USB slots degraded slightly and I had crackling on my headset and if I plugged my mouse into it, it would skip every now and then. I tried a different usb slot and crackling gone/ mouse perfect.

  • i have the same problem when i put the volume up u can hear a crackling noise but not all the time, and also they are quite heavy.

  • everyone knows that the problem isn't the headset.... it's static

  • lol, you paid $200 for them... nice one, thats why you dont buy retail

  • please help, im gettin me the razer charchias and i want to know if it is also good? for gaming?

  • @epicgameply42

Same here. Hahahaha... It was a bargain deal if you ask me.

  • shit I just got mine for $70 shipped straight from Logitech's website! However I did have a promo coupon that helped lol

  • I've got the very same problem. Really annoying...

  • You probley got a dodgy pair that where already sent back but they re-sold them as they cba to send them back for a replacement or there the bad pair that got past the product quality line. As tbh no product should crackle like that nor should the backing be peeling off like that.

  • The problem is not with the Headset or the PC, The problem is the USB ports. try plugging it into different ports on your computer until you find one that doesn't crackle.

    Shit works.

Also, I would just like to say that the surround sound on these are incredible for games that support 7.1. I can hear something behind me, and put my reticle directly over it after a quick 180. Serious, you know EXACTLY where the noise came from.

    Shit'll save your life, dawg.

  • @mungomillion I agree the surround sound is totally amazing. A chopper will fly over and you can hear it above and to the right of you, and then hear it pass across. Brilliant.

  • @mungomillion Yea I had a usb headset and in one usb port it would just power the headset and not run it through the software. when i pluged it into the one i always use it sounded so damn amazing!.

So idk if it is because thats the usb I used when I installed it or i just got lucky my first try.

  • Mine work fine, this is just a faulty or broken pair. You can get em for 70 to 80 bucks cheaper too.

  • You should stop posting why you are unhappy and how your computer is great and this is bad when your video has mostly negative votes and the reviews of the actually headset are very high.

  • @broshkin

When I can afford to buy another set to try and then if they are okay I can do another video. I would love to buy a new set, I just have not got any spare cash at the moment. Maybe logitech could send me a set and then I can see how they are. Better still they could send me a full kit of the mouse, keyboard and headset.

  • @learnhowtoweld fair enough.

  • Dude thats your shit Video card and your computer lagging on a game thats no the headsets fault. Plus it doesnt liik like uv taken care of it.

  • @SKILLMODS

Computer is i7 920, 6gb DDR3 ram, ASUS P6T board and 5890 card is this too slow ans is it laggy?

What do you mean about UV, as in Ultra Violet sun rays etc?

  • @learnhowtoweld Uv means you have

  • Mine works fine its the best headset iv had.

  • Thats your shit soundcard making that noise u have a shit computer

these are one of the best headsets

  • YOU BOUGHT IT FROM HARVEY NORMAN, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! Never buy anything from Harvey Norman. I would rather buy direct from North Korea than a Harvey Norman store.

  • @blinky123abc

    umart for me now

  • hm, what ur telling about the crackling sound is all about the microphone, u shouldn't put it on Studio quality...

and what ur showing with the glue that didn't keep the headband up. that's your fault you thread em quite bad. i got the G35 myself It's the best Headset for gamers i ever had in that priceclass.

  • Everyone i know that has a pair of G35 says its the best headset they have ever had. 1. You have bought a faulty one.

    2. You have been treating it bad.

  • as Stickydone said, you probably just got a faulty version and you could of gotten a pair of those on amazon.com for like $100..I just bought a creative fatal1ty gaming headset since i'm on a budget..for $20 they are a excellent pair of headphones...but don't blame logitech if you got a faulty pair, if you are willing to pay that much just order another one from their site

  • G35 awesome you got a shit pair

DEAL WITH IT MOTHERFUCKER MINE ARE GREAAAAT

  • My (G35) are awesome.great Sound Quality and 7.1 experience..

i also use G15 and G9 for years now and never had problems with any Logitech product...Only NOOBS say that these headphones are bad.

Maybe im a Fanboy maybe Not,but LOGITECH RULEZ,when it Comes to Gaming..Nice Designs and Good Performance......FTW!!!

  • @killuminaty187 Does this headset work for PS3???

  • @thaNORWEGIANzero

I do not think it works with the PS3, but you better double check.

  • @learnhowtoweld I dosn't have the headset thats why I wanna know

  • haha easy fix for that, lazy ass!!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know what crackling sound coming out, I have it and nothing wrong with it I'm completely happy with it!

  • First mistake, buying from Harvey Norman. You'll get nothing special from them, believe me I've worked for them. David Jones and most of the major companies are no better.

Get it from a computer shop for cheaper, personally I like MSY or Pccasegear, you can google either name for websites.

You obviously got a shit faulty set, I don't know why some of these fanboy kids are getting so abusive in the comments, I suggest you ignore them.

  • 200 bucks*

  • You have to be à loser.... I mean ... 200 nicks ?!? Sedligs

  • im getting a crackling sound through the speakers aswell ive had these for 4HOURS

  • get the razer megaladon

  • Mine didnt crack, and the padding isnt falling off :P

  • 200 bucks?! they totally ripped you off

  • @GamerNebulae

Yep, that what happens when you have 200 bucks burning a hole in you pocket and an impulse buy.

  • @RideOnLawnMowers The only cost here 80 euro's XD

  • mine just sound great.other than that the can be a little uncomfortable after 2-3 hrs because my ears gets sweat og moist.i wish the could make some other pads or what ever they call it, make the pads out of plush or something that don´t make skin or ears so sweaty.just my opinion.

  • @starfre77

    Yeah mine did that too.

  • dudeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you got RIPPPPPPPPPPED big time the headsets are around about 150, and 130 ish if you shop around. harvey norman is a ripppppppp off shop, everything sold there is hugely overpriced

  • have you tried returning them they may be faulty

  • @taztost

yep took them back, got full refund.

  • @learnhowtoweld didnt you go to their site and read + the manual ?

there is an audio setting that you have to change, that is all

  • @labobo

Well this is new to me. I can't remember being told this before. I mean the headset is long gone but there was a known issue with these. I wounder what the setting was that you had to change.

  • such a dumbass there obviously a dud set. and u also got ripped australian stores are way too expensive buy off ebay if you live in aus

  • i love mine no annoying sound or anything, u where unlucky /:

  • My logitech headset was working brilliantly... till the ear piece fell off. -.-

  • Well I had mine for ages... no problems at all and I use em pretty much

  • you are scammed. everyone who has one is happy with it. and in every review they say the sound qualtiy is very good.

so you're gay if you blame ligtech. you should blame your reseller he scmaaen a fucking 100 bucks from you. and gave you a broken one!!!

  • @stickydone

Gee some people made dumb comments on youtube

  • @stickydone logitech did say that there was a problem with the early headsets and everyone with the problem got a new one without the problem... stop being a bitch :S

  • handle it with more care next time u film a video !

  • well i have g930 wireless and the sound is very good ,exept when i turn the sound VERY loud there is a crackling sound ,but yeah these are bretty good .

PS! i dont handle my headset that way xD

  • Dude, look how you hold it, how you drop it down. Don´t cry that its broken because you destroy it yourself.

  • @zayes28

I no longer have the headests, got my money back. I have an i7 with a ATI 8750 card it has 1200mb of memory.

I was just a know issue with the headsets. All the newer ones should be fine now.

  • @learnhowtoweld You live in the future? 8750 with 1200mb Vram?

  • @mupp33n

Hmm, maybe I got me numbers mixed up lol....

  • @learnhowtoweld problably 6850 or 6950

  • @learnhowtoweld if you have a valid receipt logitech doesn't need yours back first, they will just send you a new one right away.

also thousands of these headsets are sold, if a few have the issue it doesnt mean they are all bad...Seems like the problem was with certain chipsets on 64 bit, latest drivers seem to have fixed any issues....Still the best headset you can get for the money imo.

  • can you use it for xbox ?

  • Patch the drivers, other than that it might just be a defective pair i use the wireless version i have absolutely no sound issues even when walking 50 feet away from the blocked by several walls. Only thing thing i can think of about them that is a negitive is the piviots on the headphones appear to be rather poor in the terms of durability and might be prone to snapping easily.

  • just like the outher guy said just a bad pair and to the guys saying your sound card isnt good enough usb headsets dont use your sound card thay have one built in unless u managed to have a sound card with a usb port put in

  • I wonder if they've fixed this issue in the current version. I've been hearing good things about these and the G930's

  • You need a better sound card or check your usb port. Anyway for the peeling You must have abused these because I have had mine for a LONG time and nothing has broken

  • it is the best you just fail, HAHA learn how to use shit before you buy it

  • The crackling noise was a driver error which has been fixed, usually the case though, the peeling however, even I would say that was unacceptable, but hey, you will always get one faulty set in a bunch...

  • wow those sound really bad.

but im curious why you never just took them back for an exchange.

    simple really

  • plug to SOUNDCARD for an USB headset? owhhh creative or Asus..pls release an USB IN SOUNDCARD or external soundcard ..LoL!!!

  • mate you obviously just got a dodgey set mine are briliant

  • @Carlosanta15

    yep I agree

  • @learnhowtoweld did you try to rma them before you return them? maybe you just got a bad set. these are by far one of the best headsets! but in the end everyone has their separate opinion...

  • Comment removed

  • @zayes28 What are you saying? This headset doesn't use a soundcard at all. The crackling isn't related to soundcards, it's more like another usb hardware causing interference or static energy.

  • @zayes28

You are a fuck-wit mate. All the other usb headsets that I have used work fine with no crackling.

  • @zayes28 You are fucking retarded, you dont need a sound card for most USB headsets, they have their own fucking souncard in them you stupid ass mother fucker... Get your fucking facts right...

  • @zayes28 omg could it be that u absolutly have no clue about anything ?! This is an US Fucking B Headset it have a integratet soundcart so pls stop write shit -.-

@learnhowtoweld i read something about that crackeling prob somepeople just have to unmark the icon in menü of this soundsetup under Voice, sorry dont know more but just try.Hope for u it will help u on some way,

And thx for this info video so iv been warned :D

  • @zayes28 BITCH!

    BIIIIIIIITCCH!

  • @zayes28 your either a troll, or your really a moron and have no knowledge of what your speaking. USB headset use THEIR OWN built in soundcard/driver. a new soundcard in your computer isn't going to make a difference what so ever. now apologize to this man for acting like a fucking dick

  • They wouldn't be able to even go to market with those if they all sounded that bad. You're running them through a terrible usb hub or something or didn't bother installing the drivers.

  • I noticed this crackling happens sometimes when you have another USB components attached to your computer, like a external HD. Just unplug it and the crackling disappears. The reason to not buy this headset is another: the swivel parts are fragile and will just break from normal use after some months, leaving the earpiece hanging by its cord.

  • @RajeevSamant hey uhh how long is the warrenty and what should i call/email to let them know i want mine to be replaced

  • i honestly wanna slap this retard. hes voice makes me wanna kill myself. hes the dumb a** paying 200$ on a defective headset.

  • How about you go slap me like a bitch and then I'll watch you kill yourself. And how was I supposed to know it was a defective unit, you fool.

  • i rather say it owns i got one by my self and i like them ;) using these headsets getting me on the top 10 in css maps/servers because of the sounds it makes ;D (i love the 7.1!)

  • i got mine for 70 even know they say 130. go online look at bestbuy.com and say the online deal they will go down to 65 then 70 with tax

  • G35 is a solid headset. You can't blame an entire line just because you're was faulty. Yes, it's a shame that you'll inconvenienced by having to take unnecessary steps to replace your headphones, however it doesn't mean that ALL G35's are garbage. I picked up a pair recently and have zero complaints. They are amazing.

  • @sorukai

Yes you are right. I would like to get them again one day.

  • That must be a defective unit. If they were all like that then the net would be awash with people complaining about them. Why didn't you just exchange for another pair?

  • mmine cost 101$AU few days ago, no crackling in mine, assuming you got a broken one, because it does not sound like this is functioning as it should, as for velcro, i just left the original foam on, so no issues yet, crackling would be a speaker wire issue or break in wires, as it a usb sound card the source of crackling in sound would be poor wiring

  • I Bought mine for €91,95 <-- euro's and they work great bought them on bol.com

  • i picked me up a pair for 65 bucks off of bestbuy earlier his week.

Im so glad i did not spend 150 bucks. The headset is great for what i payed for it but there are better headsets out there for the full price of 140 bucks

  • Mine crackles too, I think its mostly an error with the 64 bit driver software for the Logitech G35. The latest driver about 2-3 months ago fixed it (kinda) but still get crackling from HD videos and stuff. I think its something to do with your USB 2.0, I hooked these up to my friends USB 3.0 port (which does have more power) and it didn't crackle nearly as much.

  • I've had my headset now for over a year and it's worked absolutely perfect for me. Sucks for you, I guess. Sounds like you definitely received a faulty or damaged headset. And LOL at the idiots saying that "gaming headsets" are a joke anyways. The first time you hear these things and make the mistake of thinking you've accidentally turned on your surround-sound setup, you'll know what I mean. It sounds as if the sounds are actually AROUND YOU rather than just "in your ears."

  • And whats with all theses negitve comments? they dident work, he just showed that they dident work for em, I dont see why everyones got there pantys in a bunch.

  • @mrmaxell222 all he proved was that his didn't work.

  • Just got em today for xmas, They suck. Constant crackiling and poping, sounds is extremley fuzzy. Im using windows xp, i tried it on my bros pc that has vista and worked right away, Bin trying to get suppory from logitech, but there "support fourms" are so lame. there are tones of unanswered questions on there.

  • Looks like you just got a bad copy of the headset mate.

  • Dude ffs this is a faulty ex that you have received!

I have G35 to and it is the best damn headset I ever had and I have had a lot of headsets!

  • "Gaming" headsets are just a gimmick anyway. They offer worse sound then regular headsets yet charge more for the "gaming" tag on it. A decent soundcard + decent headphones with a good sound stage will beat out any usb gaming headset. I had a G35 and several others. Then got some AD700's and a Xonar DX and the difference was night and day.

  • @parkinsonliam I have always wondered about this. I have heard of the AD700's and people say they are pretty good. It's good to see that you were able to compare the G35's with the AD700's etc.

  • @learnhowtoweld i have also see AD700s on ebay 1 week after purchase selling for $50 .3 bids

I been using a g35s for a week with no problems sound great to me. they have new drivers update

  • your an idiot even before you bought it, harvey norman? really? its called a computer store, theres plenty. Get them there for cheaper. dumbass

  • hairy legs...

  • There will always be a bad batch with anything you buy. Not all G35's are bad, and you can't say that because some have problems. Crackling like that usually indicates that the sound has been turned up too high (bass, volume etc) for a while and the speakers have blown. Like everything including speakers - if you dont look after them - they die. I've had my G35's for over a year which I use every day and don't have any problems with them.

  • @GoneBadKiwi

Yeah true, they did acknowledge that they had a bad batch of headsets. My money was returned. I have a friend who has them and has not issues. Model number needs to be 943 and above from memory.

  • It's something wrong with the headphones just take them to the place were u bought them u have a right to complain and get a new pair it's a fabricasion problem

  • I tried everything I know on how to hook this headset up to my PS3. My PS3 did reconize that it was a Logitech G35, and I could hear myself when I tested the mic.......but I could not hear ANYTHING else. I could only hear myself say,"CHECK CHECK CHECK, like an idiot!!! So to answer all questions.....NO, the Logitech G35 does not work on the PS3!!! I hope this helps everyone out there. If it did....give me a thumbs up. (by the way) if some did figure out how to make it work, please let me know.

  • @Zundwig

A mate of mine bought the newer wireless version of these second hand only a week old because I chick bought them to use for here PS3 it think it was. And she too could not get them to work either. Dunno about the Xbox..

  • Hehe poor Aussie, got a cheap Chinese knockoff.

    They look identical.

Guess what, you've been had. :DDD

  • For me, the surround sound switch fell its ass of, then the microphone started to fail after about 5-7 months.

  • You paid $200.. you fucking retard. All of your credibility went out the window when I heard that.

  • I like the vid. You had either 1 of 3 problems:

    1) Bad drivers in oct 2009 or interaction with other system components

    2) Just plain broken pair

    3) you plugged them into a usb hub or not directly to the mobo (ie even a front mounted case usb port

I say #3 because my g35s do NOT like anything but directly plugged in to my mobo (rear of my case). Once I figured this out I heard no crackles or pops and they get extremely loud.

  • :D :D :D :D Dude are you serious i have the same headset and it's perfect it's the best headset ever your re-teller screwed you over return them and get them from another shop!!!

  • Why 200? No offense but do your research!

  • Yeah u definitly got a faulty pair ive had mine for about 2 weeks and havnt heard anything like that once.

  • you paid 200$ for a headset? you could get a 14 speaker surround sound set with that kind of money!

  • you got a faulty one, mine work fine and I'm lovin the surround sound and good bass :3

  • I paid 68$ for them. I was really lucky. It was 3 min. left before the sale ended. I'll get them tomorrow

  • @TheLemonSuckah

    Nice steal, well done.

  • so excuse me im gonna buy it in the next few days so what is the problem exactly is it factory failure or the headset is bad and im gonna buy it from local store

  • @smallville0forever

No they are okay. I just got a dud. They are pretty good.

  • Respond to this video... No they are okay. I just got a dud. They are pretty good.

  • Sounds like you got headphones made on Friday (inside joke, if products are made on Friday you got a defective unit, lol).

Well I would have said return them to Logitech, but this video is over a year old, so yeah.

  • That's a nasty noise. Did you try them on another PC, maybe even a laptop. Or grounding your pc's PSU? I think it sounds kinda like inducted noise.

  • @GrandDanois

Can't remember if I did, must have tried it on the other computer.

But yeah it does sound like a bit of interference.. I took them back ages ago and got a refund. Having said that, I now use a cheapo microsoftlifechat LX-3000 or something and a plantronics set and they do not crackle.

  • you just had bad luck go to the shop swap it for new ones and have fun on games

  • g35 are good headphones you grabbed shitty ones. they're good and they cost in germany 80 € so nc

  • you paid 200$ wtf?
