Aww, it's too bad she sucked so badly. As long as she keeps trying though, she'll get the hang of it eventually. It just helps to have experience on a bike :)
Kudos to her for trying. I am 45 and just starting to mountain bike. I am sure I looked just like her. My son, a dh racer, has so much patience when I ride with him on trails. Oh, and to "thebourg" how else you going to learn if you don't get on the hills.
